  1. Heck, PS1 is what started it all. Can't beat it when it comes to rpg games. I'll always remember it for the original Resident Evil. If you get a Goldfinger or boot disc like i have, go for the Japanese Biohazard for all the content that was cut form the U.S. version. Tons of great games. I particularlt like the Deception games as well. Not to mention, boxed sets of Lunar and Lunar 2
  2. Modern systems have made it hard on Atari and classic systems. I wish things has stayed simple like back in the old days. Games were fun!!

Hard on the classic systems? No way! Makes them shine all that much more.

Maybe more and more people will see the beauty in the simplicity of the first systems of the 70's and 80's.

Especially when directly compared to the restricted and expensive gaming rigs they got going today.

Gotta love instant load cartridges or a disk full of emulators.

  3. X-Box One came out in 2000. What the hell are they thinking??

  4. I'm just Minutes from the Ohio Club where Al Capone hung out frequently. There's even a gangster museum as well. Never been in there tho.
  5. I think you scared them off. They talked big until they saw that you weren't backin down. People like Joe all need a good dose of this. They're everywhere.
  6. That's a great idea! I wish someone would make a movie about this. I'd buy it. Heck, i love anything historical like that. I like that movie, King of Kong Fistful of quarters.
  7. Thank God. Someone else see Ebay for the total garbage that they are.

epay does indeed suck nuts. And the hate just keeps rolling! Amazing (but not amazing) that the hate is building up quickly..

  8. I'd love to meet someone who would actually pay $31,000 for a video game. Doesn't make any sense at all.
  9. Wonder why people buy sealed games and don't play them. What's the point??

They display well and have more worth in our social circle of other game collectors. What's the point of collecting spoons or stamps one has no desire to use?

Same reason why people buy pre-bagged comic books...they believe that they are worth something unread.

To show all their hot girlfriends..oh wait.

  10. Agreed. What gets me tho is they will actually use the buy it now prices as an idication of what an item is worth. I saw a guy at a thrift shop do this for 8 track tapes. Made me sick. Now he wants 5, 10, 15 each just because someone else does.
  11. what aggrevates me is when someone gets ready to sell something, especially at some of the shops around here, they'll jump on ebay first and look as if it was the Kelly Blue Book of video games or something. Rediculous.
  12. Supposed to be subs. Theres one just over the area where the gas pedal is and the theres the one in the back behind the seat. Used to give lows and rumble. The regular speakers are higher up by the plexi.
  13. Yeah but not really that uncommon tho. Many 80's speakers fell to this issue. I had a pair of Bang & Olufsen Penta II's that had this problem, They were from 86 to 90's. Alot of other speakers from the 80's have that problem. It's just the kind of material used. Apparently, if you go with the same material they used, you have to change them roughly every 10 years or so. At leastthats what i read somewhere online.
  14. Nice. I'll have to check that out. I have the one with Xevious on it as well. I get about the same high score as well. Tried the other day on the arcade and seemed harder but was finally able to reach the same score. I only last so long and then i'm out. But then again, i haven't got alot of practice in.
  15. Man! I never even heard of these guys either until a couple months ago. No wonder they weren't around long.
  16. I recently picked up a Super Pac-man for $300. Real nice. Was always one of my favorites. I usually dont give more than $500 for anything.
  17. Strange. I have a stick with 4 games, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Man, and two others i can't remember. Never noticed a difference. I have a Super Pac-man cabinet and couldn't tell the difference. Then again, it may not be a Jakks stick. I'll have to look again.
  18. i would have done the same thing.
  19. I found a Turtles Board for $150. Still debaiting. Had i actually went with the Jakks idea, i would've done a hack to make the player one stick do all the work. I don't have any plans of removing everything from the deck and having only one in the middle. I simply considered it at first since the games are identical to the original. Problem is, since then, i've aquired one of the actual arcade cabs. of a game that is in one of the sticks. Mame....i dont know. Been there done that. If i dont get the turtles board, then i'll go with a komai or midway multi-board
  20. I know where one is in great shape for $500. Just wondering whether or not to get it. I wouldn't pay $1300 tho.
