Can't imagine paying $50 or $100 or more for magazines but then again, I never got into the whole Vectrex thing. Probably a good thing for me. Looks like you'll do well though. Good luck.

Getting back on topic, I took a look over the site and noticed he still has the populated 4 port motherboards for the 5200 and their $5 cheaper than what I remember. I can't see how the 2600's and 7800's he has is a good deal at around $90-$100 but i'd sure like a 7800 with the pads instead of sticks. Many are of the parts are still a decent deal though. Probably beats ebay any day. I may have to go ahead and place an order eventually.

Ebay is the worst when it comes to things that this community represents. Overinflated prices because many people think that because something is old, it's worth a fortune.

That's about all you can do. I've done this before and they will either ignore you or they will come back with something like "Thank you mr. professional" or "If you want it, buy it, if you don't, then don't bother. The price is what it is" They have no idea that they will be keeping this for a long time.

Was just a thought. Forget I mentioned it. I just figured maybe it would be nice if he fixed up the place. I always expected a bit more. Never been to that location and don't plan on it. Nothing is set in stone. Doesn't always have to be what someone suggests. If he's ok with what he has, then great.

Hmmm, well I would.......Had they released a U.S. version. If you remember, the DC faded before 2 was released. Besides, the Xbox was only $10 at a yard sale and the games comes with a dvd.

Lol, well yeah, but I've still never heard it. I've heard a couple of people call them tapes and get frowned upon for doing so. Basically saying "Atari tapes". Never actually saying "Atari cassettes".

I don't understand how a company of that caliber could be so dis-organized and cluttered with an exterior that's looks the way it does. You know darn well that after as many years as Best has been around, that he's got wayyy more than enough money to make a presentable store front. Not very appealing I might add. That and the high prices are more than enough to keep me from buying. I might have bought from them many years ago but a complete 5200 motherboard was only $40.00. Price has probably either gone up or he may not even have any by now.

I guess you guys missed my post about the 5200 ad I recently came across: Like new, still has original plastic coating on stainless, 2 games; pacman&space invaders, Will trade for flatscreen TV I've never heard of the games being reffreeroed to as cassettes. I have heard some call them "tapes".

I'm so sick of hearing about how great FPS games are. Never played them, never will. It's the same thing no matter what the name of it is. All crap.

Right on! My newest system is Dreamcast and xbox. Dreamcast because it's Sega and Xbox for one game......Shenmue II. I'd rather play Atari or NES most of the time. That and my Genesis/CD and SNES.

Video Games are going downhill. I care nothing for what's on the shelf now.

Yeah, i'm sure if anyone wanted to see them that bad, they would just do so. I can't see paying $25 each and playing on a Jag.

Can't be very good if they're video cds. I remember playing some on the Dreamcast years ago. Worse than a good clean VHS.

Looks pretty good cleaned up. I bet it didn't come that way for only $2. Never tell what you paid for something if your going to turn around and sell it again. A big turn-off for me is finding out someone paid practically nothing for something and then turn around and want big money for it. I never buy to resale. Knowing now that you only paid $2, that's all i'd offer. It's un-tested and not complete.

Ah man, now i'm gonna have to go back to that one again. I didn't see the box. That's the episode where he found out that the reason they couldn't find the car was because it was really red. Old color had washed off. I'm on season 10 right now. In one of the episodes where Bud's frat brothers were there, one of them was playing a Game Boy. I think they were heading to Fort Lauderdale for spring break.
