  1. Nice. Been awhile since i've seen anyone playing something besides a DS or PSP.
  2. What is up with the many different codes stamped in the back of 5200 controllers? Over the many years, i've figured out, if your controllers have the same code as the bottom of the console, then they are original to that unit. My system has EP 163 on the bottom of it and one of my controllers has the same. Two other controllers i have are SV 462. Now i'm wondering if the first two characters represent where the were manufactured. SV standing for SunnyVale, etc. or is it something else.
  3. My first one came from the trash. Someone threw one out back in 88 with 5 games and 4 controllers. The games were Centipede, Pac-Man, Joust, Defender, Missile Command. I still remember thosae days. Played the hell out of Defender, Pac-Man and Joust. 3 of the controllers were dead and the 4th gave out some time after i acquired it. After getting rid of it, my dad bought me a new 7800 from Fingerhut.
  4. I had a 5200 back in the 80's but lost it due to faulty controllers.
  5. Tested it earlier and works real well. About the same as the last arcade i played.
  6. Yep CO18187. The trakball is supposed to be white. Someone has put an 8-ball in there. Works damn good to. Was playing Centipede earlier.
  7. Got it. Here's what it looks like right now. Got some cleaning to do and controllers to rebuild.
  8. 4 port model with a 2600 adapter, 3 controllers and a trakball. Might get some storage units as well. Will update with pics when it arrives. He said the controllers are shot. I build my own kits so I may have them running by tonight. Maybe Monday at the latest if I have to go out for supplies. Not sure of what I have here yet.

  15. It's the same everywhere I go. No pinball machines. Very few games and mostly crappy. Nearly all paper tickets.
  16. I'm sure he propably would slap himself now. Knowing what he knows.
  17. I bet that was cool. I'm originally from California. Born and raised but never lived near there. Merced and around Madera County and Chowchilla.
  18. Funny how the poll shows more collecting of DVDs and cds than VHS and 8-Track. What about cars? I collect old 70's Lincolns. 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V and 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. And old TVs.
  19. I know shipping can be high from there. How much do you think it would be? Let me know if you do find it.
  20. They'd Chit if you took a 70" 3d led flatscreen back to 1975 and told them their crt sets are doodoo.
  21. Hey, if you or Carmel or anyone that has one doesn't mind selling, let me know what you want for it.
  22. You must be from New Jersey. There's a town that throws EVERYTHING away. While visiting, I found an Intellivision with voice module and a stack of games. All games were complete in boxes. A Nintendo, a PS2, Xbox, some Commodore stuff, You name it. Things normal people in the KNOW would have never done this.
