I was playing the C64 version of H.E.R.O. recently. I appreciate the updated graphics, but I think I prefer the clean simplicity of the 2600 version more. Am I crazy?

Nice! They need to put out a few more to catch up with Sparks, they released their 24th last year and are currently working on their 25th. They released a new song with Todd Rundgren a couple months ago, he'd produced their first album 50 years ago.

I've got to be honest-(relatively metalhead here, with several weenie exceptions, and versatile musician...), I really didn't/don't care for them much, but saw them live in Charlotte, NC once(with Staind? I dunno. I drink a lot), and they were FANTASTIC, I knew more songs than I anticipated, and they really played well/put on a great show, I was highly impressed by the "band effort".
