  1. A Colecovision cartridge is approximately the same size as a Atari 2600 cartridge, but the PCB connector is wider. So just check the bottom. Besides in label most say "For use with Colecovision"
  2. Well, just I've tested each cartridge, I had to clean the PCB connector of some several times. Almost everything worked with exception of Normandy Landing, and I don't have a way to test the Intellivision cartridges, but them look so nice! @CPUWIZ, the Chinese 32 in 1 multi-cart has a modified Donkey Kong, but instead of a gorilla appears a big smiling bunny, that was so fun! The V case 32 in 1 changes game on each turn on/off, I never have seen before the game of Baby Go Home.
  3. Foxsolo2000 is right, them are common, just I've got one http://atariage.com/forums/topic/212228-a-bunch-of-atari-cartridges/ By the way, for your information, every game with that type of cartridge case (somewhat short size) is typically Taiwanese and in my experience never are rare.
  4. If the Colecovision turns on and shows the "Turn off to insert cartridge" message and color looks right, then it's pretty probable it works fine. Besides all other peripherals included are at good price. Remembers it's almost sure that you'll have to open everything to clean up. Another thing you can do is to get Turbo, Slither and Donkey Kong cartridges and take them to test the Colecovision
  5. By the way, the ones without a visible title are: V-Cases: Enduro, 32 in 1 game and Bowling. And the other two are Crose Forcy (battleship) and Barzack (princess). And unfortunately just I've noted that Centipede and War Lords are missing the top label.
  6. I got three V-cases recently at Mexico. First I've ever seen and all that the shop had. I don't saw this on your list. It says Bowling in top. The other you already have listed are Enduro and 32 in 1 game.
  7. Hi everybody. I've got recently this bunch of Atari cartridges at a weird store in Mexico. I took the rarest (I think ) everything for $41, three were Intellivision but look nice. I believe that Atari Video Cube and the two Konamis paid for all, also I got some V cases, some pirates (one of these in its box) Still I don't have tested the cartridges as just I've finished cleaning them.
  8. Just I've applied for register
  9. I happened same to me with Ghouls n Ghosts, finished the game and there is a message that says you should use another weapon and repeat the last levels. I simply refused to do it... maybe a day if I am bored enough.
  10. You look at a cartridge and you laugh saying "haha, this is the cartridge XYZ with rare label from 198x, you would think it is rare, but look at the spine, this makes it a common. Also check the quality, it doesn't reach the price that this guy wants. *you look at the bottom of cartridge* oh, boy, it even hasn't been cleaned" and everyone stares at you without understanding anything.
  11. I would recommend you to use this test ROM http://atariage.com/forums/topic/211871-sgm-test-rom/#entry2748035 It would be interesting if it uncovers some failure in RAM.
  12. Yep, but I'm sure everyone in US only remember NES released in 1985
  13. What you are trying to say is platforms with hardware-scrolling support, most appeared starting in 1985 (NES, SMS) All platforms could do smooth scrolling in some way or other, just that in some it took a little more effort and ingenuity.
  14. I sold my Atari 2600 Jr with 15 games just because I have the Expansion Module 1 where I play and test my Atari collection, though I still have a Atari 2600A that I don't use.
  15. I've released a Super Game Module tester ROM :) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/211871-sgm-test-rom/

This was very nice of you to make one. Very nice job. BlueMSX 2.1.2 doesn't have the sound chip(failure message appear) and first 8KB error. Very cool!!!

  16. Here is the ROM file for doing tests with Super Game Module. It does the following: o Detection of base system (Colecovision/Coleco ADAM) o Check of base system memory (1K in Colecovision, 32K in ADAM) o Detection of Super Game Module. o Check of 32K Super Game Module memory. o Individual test of Super Game Module sound chip. o Parallel test of SGM sound chip with Coleco sound chip. o Music playing at same time over SGM and Coleco sound chips. (William Tell overture from Princess Quest enhanced for SGM, like in forthcoming Mecha-8 ) Thanks a lot to Pixelboy, NIAD and Opcode for testing it. Special thanks to SpiceWare for bringing up the need for this utility. Enjoy it! sgm_test.zip
  17. Amazing! Now I understand how to create a MULTIROM file, that's more fast than loading ROM one by one.
  18. Good news!, I've a final version of the utility and it is being tested. Just I'm doing some further checks and if everything goes fine, tomorrow I'll publish it
  19. Fourth sounds like force I always liked how R2D2 has a funny name in Spanish: Arturito (diminutive for Arturo, that's Arthur in English) And the ewoks spoke commonly "Ay, Chihuahua", looks like Lucas though that Spanish was a fairly spacial language
  20. I remember how much fun was Donkey Kong for me. I'm waiting seriously for the Donkey Kong Arcade port for Colecovision being made by Opcode Games.
  21. SOS Cat is still listed as upcoming game in Collectorvision site.
  22. I could do a SGM test ROM , just I need to work some days . Expect news soon
  23. Added new releases of Collectorvision: Mario Brothers (2nd ed), Mindwalls and Roller Ball. Also added link for those wanting to get a Opcode Super Game Module.
  24. Just I've saw this thread and I thought it needed a link here so other people can see it: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/211824-odyssey-probe-2000-war-room-prototype/
