  1. Princess Quest for CV from Team Pixelboy will be available to order in less than 12 hours. :)

  2. Even the salesman's name is to get attention
  3. Some years ago I've played The Castle Excellent for MSX complete. It's a big game with a hundred of rooms and some puzzles that almost make you crazy. Of course, I've played saving to cassette (emulated,) but took me several days to figure some solutions (like taking a key and opening a door very far away then getting back with all those enemies). Indeed the game is slow but there is a key to speed up the game. Everything runs faster even the music. Near the end I was almost crazy not by the puzzles but by the music A very challenging game. As far as I know The Castle Excellent is the sequel to The Castle.
  4. ¡Feliz navidad desde México! (that is: Merry Christmas from Mexico)
  5. From the manual of Chess Challenger cartridge I've received today * There are 3 computer levels that you can select by pressing key 1, 2 or 3. Level 1: 2 seconds typical response. Level 2: 15 seconds typical response. Level 3: 135 seconds typical response. * Press key 9 to toggle two-player mode (P VS P) and player versus computer mode (P VS C) From what I could see in a fast test, it's a pretty interesting chess program. I played first game distractedly and I've been overcome by the computer. Sounds are a nice touch also.
  6. And finally I'm pretty happy to say I've received my Zombie Near cartridges in both boxes US and CBS, and them look great! (for your info, I'm the author of this game). Many thanks to Collectorvision, J-F, Toby, crapahute and everyone involved Also I've got Chess Challenger and it looks pretty cool.
  7. My bad English of course. I'm only secure with Princess Quest because I'm the author. But I guess I'll have to wake up early in Christmas morning for the other games
  8. Wow! I just realized that there are only five days more to Christmas! :) Jingle bells, jingle bells, Princess Quest is going out :) I feel a great emotion waiting to have it in my hands and all the other Team Pixelboy games I've ordered
  9. Who better than the author to answer this that's me. I've contacted J-F (retroillucid) in order to release Zombie Near for Colecovision in a very much improved version with respect to MSXdev'10 contest, including new graphics, new music and new challenges that I managed to fit in 32K. So he has my permission to sell it As I'm relatively new to Colecovision scene, currently I don't have plans to release ROM files for Colecovision, but who knows, maybe in the future. So go ahead without concerns and get your Zombie Near cartridge.
  10. You can use BlueMSX at a very slow speed. I know someone did it this way, what a patient man! By the way, I'm reading "engaged" in your small status , congratulations!
  11. It's somehow like comic collecting. If you want to collect AND read, you have to buy two comics, one to keep sealed and untouched, and the other to read, or in this case, to play
  12. GoodDealGames kindly has shared some information about his current inventory that I've used to update the list. So far Girl's Garden is sold-out and I've replaced some of the 'few' indicators with the number of cartridges.
  13. Just in case you need it. I've a very good routine for sprite flickering that I've tuned up for Princess Quest. I can share it with you if you want
  14. Added Jeepers Creepers because there was one CIB release with coffin-style box. Noted the.golden.ax suggestion and I was able to put some info about carts variation thanks to the great help of NIAD
  15. Ah!, you're talking about the PCB (Printed Circuit Board,) I know there are several guys around Atariage forums than can supply you these PCB. Surely somebody will read this thread. But if you want to do it by yourself http://longhornengineer.com/projects/pcb/atari-2600-cart-2k4k-pcb/ just locate a PCB manufacturer. As far as I can see it would use a 2716 or 27C32 memory. Surely there are other PCB available in Internet, just search for "Atari Cartridge PCB"
  16. Can you give me details? are these loose cartridges or CIB? what games?
  17. And of course, in order to reuse your EPROM, you will need an EPROM eraser.
  18. It's easy. Use an EPROM 27C256 commonly available (32 kilobytes), program it repeating the 4K over the 32K, search for cartridge pinouts, use (destroy) a Pac-Man PCB to mount the EPROM in the air with cables. Done.
  19. New keyword BATCH for games being re-released in limited batch. First game using it is Mario Brothers from Collectorvision.
