Two versions of ECS box?
Intellivisioner replied to bikeguychicago's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Same black stickers on my ECS box. But a different "Made in" information - "Keyboard made in Japan" instead of Taiwan in the auction. -
A cult-game to me. Just paid 19 DM for it, in early 1985, missing overlays and instructions. So I had to figure out the game rules for myself. Remember great sessions with my school comrade. We always got a panic attack as the hurricane moved over one or both islands. It was a revelation in the sim-game world! Now I am a proud owner of a copy signed by its designer Don Daglow!

Similarity to Mike´s story here. Still at 399 DM I got my Intellivision for Xmas 1983. It came with Triple Action, which I enjoyed very much - especially loved Bi-Planes playing with schoolfriends. Another present was Imagic´s title Dracula - it was actually the reason to wish this system, next to the unrivalled sports games of course. And then came 1984 with drastically reduced prices for Inty games. Everyone now wanted a Commodore 64, a "real" home computer system, not just a toy... Ah yes, I was 14 years old.
