Don't remember that on the tweety, but its was probably 20 plus years ago that I installed it on my mega 2, and then pulled it for what ever reason. Was digging through some boxes the other day and found my old tweety, Would be interesting to find a pdf of the manual to see if this was true. I do remember the sound was pretty cool pumped through my stereo.

I'm under the understanding it can be turned off, am I incorrect?

I got a pro controller from go atari when it was still around, Its nice but not 80 bucks nice, but I did just buy a rotary controller off Ebay for around 50 bucks for T2K so who am I to talk

Not concerned with doing the mods, modding atari's coming on 35 years, just concerned about noise and timing issues.
