  1. Stefan Both left a file link early in this thread: http://www.datentraegerkonvertierung.de/gast/Atari_WiFi_w_Oled.zip The link is dead and Stefan has not been on the forum since July of last year. Does anyone here have the file that was associated with this link (Atari_WiFi_w_Oled.zip) Would be appreciated Rob

  5. I ordered from him just a couple months ago. A $270.00 order with no hitches.
  6. No offence but if you expressed those sentiments to Brad, then your great great great grandchildren will never be able to buy from best. I would then try Bruce Carso (530-295-9270) or http://www.st-freakz.co.uk/
  7. I have dealt with Brad Koda(Best) and Bruce Carso(B&C) for decades. Steve Cohen(Wizztronics), Bruce Carso and Brad Koda bought out Atari's inventory when Atari shut down. Steve Cohen is out of the picture these days, leaving Best and B&C owning almost 100% of new in box Atari products and parts. Bruce pretty much sells only on Ebay, leaving Bradley the only one doing direct sales. If you can catch Bruce on the phone, he will sell to you, but that's a challenge these days. Brad is basically the Sole vendor on planet earth. If you establish rapport with Brad you'll always get what you need. He likes e-mail sales of quantities less than 4 items. Remember he does not have to sell another thing and he is still set financially. I have had nothing but good experiences with Best Electronics. Always got fast shipping, well packed and in perfect shape at a reasonable price. ST freekz and Atarimax may have Atari LSI chips too.
  8. It does on the SDrive ATR that auto boots
  9. Nice grab, looks new. I still have my original 800 that I purchased in 79.
  10. I recently replaced my Combel, 030 and one of the Gal chips on my falcon. Got it working finally after two years sitting on the shelf. Installed the CT63 and have been using it for about a week with little to no problems in terms of stability. A few days ago I installed the Nemesis clock patch prior to installing the Nemesis, to test it for stability. I know Czuba recommends removing any clock patches and going with a terminating resistor on the DMA. I was playing a game of PMdoom today in 060 mode and shut down, switched over to 030 mode and got a black screen. Went back to 060 mode and it booted fine. So I figured it was a NVRAM issue and reset the NVRAM, but still a black screen in 030 mode. I then removed the clock patch and restored it to Czubas recommended patch. Still black screen in 030 mode. I then replaced the 16meg ram module, TOS 4.04 chip and all the Gal chips and still black screen in 030 mode. I swapped out the Pico PSU with a regular ATX and then to the original Atari PSU, still a black screen in 030 mode. I have tried the Falcon test kit hooked to a dumb terminal and get nothing from the rs232 port in 030 and 060 modes. BUT the machine boots almost perfectly in 060 mode, with the exception that I have no mouse controll in Xboot, but the mouse works perfectly on the desktop. I was hoping that one of you guys could give me a time saving idea

  12. Tac 2, Indestructible and responsive. I have 1 of just about every stick from that period and the tac 2 is my favorite. Still use the one I purchased in the 80's

  14. its looks like its sending a 1.8mhz clock into Xtal1 or 2 of the mfp can't tell from picture. not a 32mhz booster. be nice to know what the gal logic is! Maybe a serial port upgrade for faster baud rates
  15. I have done so, If the forum was in bold text and a larger font, it would make it easier to find the content were looking for Rob
  16. I get what your saying. I found that the content spy was convenient because it was "TOPIC", "FORUM", "POSTER" in line item format. Now the topic is in Bold text and the forum is in a small font buried under the topic. I mainly used AtariAge for A8 content anyways, which I can still do. There are other forums that have line item listings that I find more usable. I know I'm nit picking on one item and the truth is I like the new structure and content. Especially the clubs. Some of us resist change
  17. Sorry Al. I do respect what you do. The list method of the content spy made looking for new content extremely easy. Way to complicated now and an investment of time I don't have. There has to be a way of incorporating the old content spy into the new forum for dummies like me who like simplicity.
  18. Sorry but no content spy. What a mess. Now we have to fish through a bunch of junk to find the stuff were interested in. Am I missing something here? I liked the old activity content spy!!
  19. Isn't the TBA doing them, don't know there location And yes they are really cool https://thebrewingacademy.com/collections/atari-800-xl-xe-xel-xld
