Some people also forget the old continue cheat. Hold A when you press start to begin on level one of the last world you were on.

Are you playing on a crt television? I've found even the slight lag on a lcd tv can be enough to really throw me off. On original hardware, I can breeze through the game no warps, no problem, but that millisecond on a modern tv can really cause problems. I guess being a poor kid made a difference. When you only have a few games, you play the heck out of them.

The Official Game Boy Thread
gorfcadet replied to Skippy B. Coyote's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I love Gameboys! I really want to get a modded GBA with the SP backlit screen. I love the form factor of the first model GBA, I just wish it had been made backlit at some point. For that matter, I still love my original green screen that came with Tetris. -
Game runs on Genesis clone but not the real thing?
gorfcadet replied to gorfcadet's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I wondered if it might be a bootleg as well, but it looked legit when I opened it. Maybe a bad chip that the clone doesn't need? -
Game runs on Genesis clone but not the real thing?
gorfcadet replied to gorfcadet's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Yeah, I popped it open too. The leads and insides of this thing are immaculate. It makes no sense. It looks like it was just opened yesterday. That is ehy I've kept it really; so I could get an ugly copy and swap the guts. Hate to waste such a pretty cart shell and label. -
So I have a Genesis copy of Battletoads, and it has never worked on my CDX, Genesis I, model 2, or passed through my 32X. In all, I have run it through 5 original SEGA consoles with no luck. I picked up one of the atgames clones and tried it on a whim and it fired right up! So anyone have any theories why it might hate original hardware so much but run on a clone? The cart looks super clean; I just can't figure it out. Any similar stories or theories?

You can still find our details if we lost our order number and the payment email?

When you play Ms. Pac Man on Genesis with a 6 button pad, you must hold the mode button down on the top of the controller while booting the system or the controls will be messed up/lagged. Forgotten Worlds also has problems with the 6 button pad. You could also switch to a three button pad to fix the problem.

My confirmation email is long gone, but Curt assured me a year back or so my info was in his Amazon list. At least my mailing address hasn't changed. Can't wait to put the XM to work!

I had one.... loved that thing! I played through the sci fi program all the time on slow weekends! -
Are you still selling the kits? I pm'd you yesterday to inquire. The screen looks truly spectacular!

That is awesome! Way to be PMP! Thanks for sharing.

Forgotten Worlds and Ghouls N Ghosts are a couple of my absolute faves. Not perfect, but still a blast to play!

Atari 7800 loses signal on one of my plasma TVs
gorfcadet replied to thetallguy24's topic in Atari 7800
Run it through an old vcr for the rca out. It always seems to clean up my signal. That is my cheap solution anyway. -
Glad for the good news Curt! I guess I'll have to start pestering some folks soon about a thing. Can't wait to give it a test lap! Stay well and good luck down the stretch.

It is one of my faves as well. I hate that the Genesis version is soooo slow. That version needs a hack. The Lynx and NES are my go to's, but I can't wait to play the 7800 version!

List of games that don't work on the ATGames Genesis Ultimate portable
gorfcadet replied to Inky's topic in Sega Genesis
That is odd that the portable is so different from the atgames console. Ms Pac, Frogger, and Arcades GH all work perfectly on that thing aside from occassional sound/pitch issues. It even runs my copy of Fix It Felix Jr. -
Best Home Version of Ms. Pac-Man?
gorfcadet replied to VectorGamer's topic in Classic Console Discussion
NES Namco was awful. NES Tengen is still my favorite. Remixed mazes, arcade mazes, two player co-op and competitive, good palette and sound, optonal speed up button and Pac Man as a playable character just make this cart the complete package to me. Now I return to the shadows where I lurk. -
Drool! Looks amazing! Put me down for one for sure! Robotron and Indiana Jones will be much improved thanks to these.

I was trying to get this done for Halloween, but...

Wow! Do want! Bob, please put me down for one. Looks awesome! -
