  1. Thats a good question SC. I'd love to see clear or different colored carts become common like the repros of nes carts floating around... considering most homebrews sell for 20 - 35 dollars, I would think shells for 1 to 4 dollars would be reasonable?
  2. Thank you kindly. drat... forum now does not support my lil invader graphic. 😢 or my frowny face... double drat.
  3. TheCodeMan, what upscaler doohickey are you using? I'm looking to get one soon.
  4. Wow... If Atari had the talent the boards have now the 78 could have been a real contender back in the day. Great work! So what are the art constraints you work under when you do this? Max sprite size? Number of colors on screen? Colors per sprite? Its really interesting.
  5. Hmm.. to avoid starting a new T16 thread, I'll ask here. Anyone commend someone that does an av mod for the t16? I see turbo boosters are floating around 100 on epay.
  6. Black grid Sega games rule! I do love T16, but I am very afraid of getting into the money pit that is the cd drive. Won't the everdrive support the cd games anyway?
  7. MORE SHOPS? Hot Springs, AR needs A SHOP. I the last year we've lost two and our only comic book shop.... I'm really feeling isolated. My whining aside, good luck with the move!
  8. Downgrade me to just two carts... I've spent the week flipping my room around and I just can't do boxes anymore. At least until I add on to the house! I give up. There just isn't any way to stuff more stuff in here.
  9. Very nice looking store. I just wish someone would bring a shop like that to my neck of the woods!
  10. Drats! Foiled again! My goal of one day having enough Commando carts to swim in like Scrooge McDuck remains a pipe dream.
  11. Yurkie, your work looks outstanding and I will be hitting you up for a Coleco mod this fall. (my school's next payday is mid September) The fact that you agonized over someone's absurd nitpick is just a testament to how seriously you take your work. You'll be getting my money in the near future. Now how much for one of those Commandos? 😝
  12. Would the box not be the same as the text version?
  13. It is an 8 bit main processor with a 16 bit graphics chip. Of course, it has a 128 bit AWESOME chip! 👾
  14. Bob usually does a set after completion of a game. Some like Pac Man Collection are available in the Atari Age store. Thats how I got Super Pac Man. I believe he said recently some of his others would be hitting the store at some point. Scramble, Rip Off, Super Circus Atari, and Moon Cresta are all great.
  15. I had no idea there was an everdrive! Of course now it says sold out. 😢 Anyone know when they'll have more? I just checked stoneagegamer. Anywhere else I should look?
  16. Get it and thank me later. The T16 is a great collector's and gamer's console! It has some of the best shmups, platformers, and action titles of the era. The controllers are solid, the cards are unique, and the colors really do pop on a good tv. Get: Blazing Lasers Bonk Legendary Axe Pac Land Super Star Soldier Alien Crush and have a blast! You don't really hit money until you start investing in the cd drive and some of those accessories.
  17. Just to chime in. I would absolutely buy an Everdrive for my Jag. I get tired of cleaning carts and digging through my collection. My mancave is only 10x11 and splits space between my comic book collection, toys, and my retro collection. I keep my Jag connected just like all my systems, but the games are stored along with many of my others due to space. (I keep 2600, 7800, Genesis, Nes, and the disc based systems ready access but I can't face everything.)

    Get Lost!

Looks great! I'll try it later tonight. Put me down for a cart when you get ready!
  19. Well, you guys are way luckier than me. In the last year the Salvation Army here in Hot Springs has had the same three text label Atari commons every time I've gone in and the other thrift shop has tons of 8 tracks but I have yet to see anything resembling a game cartridge. Both retro shops closed this year and now all that is left is Gamestop. 😡
  20. Wow! I just hope that those end up in a game! 👾 Lil' Invader thumbs up!
  21. I got my Mario themed one today... that is a kick arse joystick! Why couldn't the system have had something like this back in the day? Thanks again! Anyone who gets one of these is super lucky!
  22. Oh, I agree. I have a modded nes pad anyway. I was just thinking of ways to accomodate Atari stock pad/stick only owners. I just can't believe you're getting a 7800 to run such a cool game. Great work sir!
  23. Just a thought about the run button and ProLine controllers... What about implementing Pac Land controls? Double tap and hold the direction to run in that direction. With stock Atari 7800 pads it might be easier. Even the Euro pads have button 1 and 2 a little too far apart for easy Mario style gameplay. Of course AX's Nes pads are awesome for this, but for everyone else, PacLand style controls might be a real plus. Also, it could free up button two for another play mechanic. Bob... it looks freaking sweet btw!
  24. Ugh! So jealous! I'm a comic nerd and an Atari lifer so that to me is the best pickup! A rare that is worth playing! Of the Sears pic labels I believe Supes is one of if not the hardest to find!
