Just in from the Goodwill! Not bad for 15 bucks! Original AC, paddles, and sticks! Anyone know how to fix the old Atari sticks? I love the feel of the fire button, but one doesn't read up and down and the other doesn't read any direction but right. I had no idea it was a Sunnyvale till it showed up in the mail today! So stoked! FS or Trade - PS1 QuickShot Arcade Joystick (TRADE MADE!)

That is NICE! Pretty Tron cab! I'm slowly converting the artwork on StarGate to Defender. Got the marquee, bezel, and modified cpo switched. It sits in a row wih my jukebox and 4 other cabs so the only side art I ever see is Pac Man anyway. Unfortunately UN Squadron just moved ahead in repair priority thanks to a blown cap in the monitor. The screen is very blue right now. -

Yeah, I actually keep 2 multicabs running in my house for that reason. One is a remodeled Tutankham cab that has sticks on it suitable for Street Fighter and the other is a cleaned up Star Gate I use for 4 way control games. 4 way sticks are equally painfull for fighting games. Purists don't get mad at me, the Tutankham was shot and there was just no way I could restore it. I do keep my Pac Man, UN Squadron, and Power Drift running factory spec. -

I see one on feepay, but I have had no luck finding any screenshots or video. Anyone have some media on this cart they can share? Quick explanation of gameplay?

YAGRS gave me a Master Gear Converter just cause he rocks! Great AAer!

That probably is a big improvement on the playability of the thing. I like how he used the camera mount in his design. Brilliant!

I Made the Switch from CRT to LCD

My Samsung handles retro like a champ. Atari games need to pass through a vcr to look good (color issues and pixel bleed) but the sega, turbo, nes, snes, 64, Saturn, DC, etc all look pretty good through composite. My Philips (devil tv) makes them all look like pooh. Of course this is the hdtv that has shutting down for up to 5 minutes to cool off as a listed feature in the instruction book. It does it too. I found it when checking the back for troubleshooting. THEY LISTED IT AS A FEATURE! Never wanted to beat a Sears salesperson so much in my life. No joke its on sale! I may invest in an upscaler eventually but I do most of my retro in my office on my old RCA Colorview crt. I picked it up for 20 bucks on clearance from walmart. Couldn't resist the pretty blue casing. And I'll miss Duck Hunt one day. -
hmmm.. maybe it was the import. Can't find it anywhere.

I was working at a small game store about that time and they (the owners) bought everything for the store. They even had a huge selection of Jag, Sega Cd, and 3DO. Well the version of this game they got I could have sworn had Donald Duck is Maui Mallard on the box. I remember the snes being different. I had to keep telling this one lady it was rented out who would call for like two weeks straight. Good times. If I had known how rare many of those games were I would have bought them before the shop closed. My favorite weekly fun was when our Jag loyalists would come back to complain their latest game was terrible while I sat behind the counter, my good game paused while I played therapist to the rich guy who can't be bothered to read a review or play the game first on our demo station.

Austin was great to deal with! Thanks again!

The Saturn is great. IMHO it was the last great 2D console. Capcom saw a golden age of great 2D games released on it. Street Fighter Alpha 2, Night Warriors, Mega Man 8 and imports like X-Men Vs Street Fighter and the coin op Dungeons and Dragons collection are essential. Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop, Panzer Dragoon 2, Guardian Heroes, Daytona CCE, Shinobi Legions, Fighter's Megamix, and Nights are classics and some of the best games on any system.

I remember a pic of it in EGM way back when and thought it was never completed. That is beautiful!
