I go back and forth between Forgotten Worlds and Captain America and the Avengers. Sega had the only home port of Cap worth playing and it was great! About once a month, I'll play career mode in Super Monaco GP.. I love getting the best car by race three.

What I always wanted to see was a forward scrolling Asteroids that incorporated the asteroid physics into enemy swarm shooting and boss fights. Like Galaga meets Asteroids meets Blazing Lazers. You'd have the ability to shoot asteroids into enemies, but bosses could throw them at you. Maybe Galaga tractor beams could grab asteroids instead of your ship and use them for shields. Maybe when I win the lottery I'll retire from teaching and make the darn thing myself. Asteroids always deserved the remix treatment ala Pac Man CE and Space Invaders Extreme... maybe one day.

I have always sucked at this game... most Zaxxon perpective games kick my butt for that matter. Still like it.

That is a blast! Atari needed you back in the day Bob! SCAA is my fifth of your games and I love them all. I now draw special attention to the Bob wing of my collection whenever I have company. Of course this made me realize that all my paddles jitter horribly! Dpad is perfectly acceptable thank goodness! (As long as you avoid the speed up.). The clown animations are outstanding! I love the bonus point icon btw! Is there a trigger for when it shows up?

Stuff came in today! AX that GG is a thing of beauty! I totally forgot how big a Game Gear is! Anyone thinking of getting a GG, get one modded from AX... they are great!

Yeah, I paid for the full Atari ipad suite ages ago. woot. Freaked me out though... said I'd lose my games next time I deleted or whatever... guess everyone got that message regardless.

I took some trash down the hill.... regretted it the rest of the day. Too.. hot... If Wanted is still around next wave of stuff you list, I'll probably jump on it. I'm just getting into SMS and GG though I was def a Genesis kid after Atari and C64.

Hi all, I know this topic is a little old but since I have three of these things I thought I'd ask a couple of questions. I saw a youtube video where a guy used 2 regular AA batteries to replace the button cell. Isn't that dangerous if the Sega is going to try and charge whatever is connected to it? Also, my third unit is a cdx. Does it use the same battery based backup scenerio? Anyone tried something like this for a cdx?

Just got 93670 on Scramble! This was the first time I looped the circuit and I think I was on round four or five when I finally bit the dust. Bob, that is a damn fine game. I'd post a pic but I don't know how on an ipad. Have to email it to myself later. Just realized most of my top ten 7800 games were made by Bob! Thanks again sir!

Hey AX, just saw Galaga 91 on epay and I love that game! My question is this... Will an American Game Gear play imports? I know Nintendos up to 3ds do, but I thought I'd ask you before bidding since you know stuff about this stuff. Thanks in advance! If anyone else knows feel free to chime in.

I get a fuzzy streak down just right of the middle of the screen when Ms Pac eats a fruit or a ghost monster to a lesser degree. It goes away as soon as the audio chime is over. Does not occur on any other game I have or play.

I saw a RSI today for 5 bucks at the local flea market minus the battery cover. Only thing worth a darn there. Hot Springs stinks for thrift store Atari love.

What he said. MUST BE FIXED! Much like my Colecovision with the dead fire buttons.... I can just use the num pads with an Atari stick, but it ticks me off! I feel ya brother!

Looks very cool! I came to AA as a 7800 collector/enthusiast, but it is great to see my beloved Lynx get new and cool software this close to 25 years later. I know its 5%, but any plans to sell it on a cart? If so, put me down.
