So I've installed mine, but I can't get a picture on an RGB SCART equipped TV (picture still coming through on Composite, so the GTIA is working, phew!). It could be my cable, but that looks like it's wired correctly. What should be jumpers be set to for RGB SCART?
-
I'm going to fit mine today hopefully

I'm thinking of using one of these as a starting point and then sorting out the audio wiring by removing the 2 phonos and soldering to the correct pin in the 9-Way ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PHILIPS-CM8833-MKII-RGB-MONITOR-TO-SCART-ADAPTER-CABLE-/320754731999?hash=item4aae78cbdf:g:Pp0AAOxy3cJTglIw

I backed the Kickstarter campaign so in a way they've already been paid, but I'm not sure you should be posting about downloading something for free which can be currently be bought. -
Confirmed

Another shout out to say APE and ProSystem run fine for me on Windows 10. But there were both installed prior to an upgrade to Windows 10, which was Windows 7. So whether that has an impact I'm not sure.

The SIO2USB from AtariMax comes with a drive analysis option in the Pro part of APE. That tells me I've got a Happy so i assume it'll do it for others.
-
Yeah in the CPC and PCW ranges. And also in the Speccy +3.
-
I'm definitely interested in one. Once you've used a computer with RGB outout using others without it sux.

Yup, my feelings exactly. It makes me wonder what other stuff looks vastly different between NTSC and PAL!

I only really started to going to Hull City Centre regularly in September 1987 when I started College. And the only arcade I remember in the centre was called Sunspot, I wrote about it brief in an article I did for Way of the Rodent about 10+ years ago. Does that name ring any bells?
-
I know it was 30+ years ago, but I don't suppose you remember where in Hull you used to play Super Zaxxon?
-
Yup, just 15 miles down the A6.
-
Haha, indeed I am. Where in the county are you? If you want any help in transferring your disks to the PC I have a working 1050 Happy Drive and an AtariMax SIO2USB device. So shout if you want any help.

Are you in the UK or somewhere else?

I'm not in Portland or even the USA but I look forward to listening to it. Kevin's interview with Joe was great and the book he's been working on sounds great. -
"In the day" : The 5 Best non-game Programs on Atari 8-bit
Ely replied to ACML's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I was going to mention Mini Office II, I used the Word Processor on that for writing all of my assignements for the first 2 years of college. So my five would be; 1. Mini Office II (Word Processor) 2. Print Shop 3. Turbo Basic XL 4. Rob. C Menu Maker 5. Super Duper -
Ah okay re: Basingstoke. Yeah I'm in Bedord, but only moved here in 1989 so never knew anyone in the area with an 8-Bit.

Just out of curiosity whereabouts is he based in the UK?
-
To me the guy is being unreasonable. If it's been in his loft that long he can't be that precious about it!
-
Ah that reminds me. I spent May day bank holiday 1990 debugging a TurboPascal program for a college assignment on my ST running PC-Ditto! Jeez it was slow going, the hours I spent figuring out that a semi-colon was missing. Those were the days
-
Seconded. As someone from the UK I could only dream of going to such a thing. Really hope you manage to get in contact with more people who attended them.

Kevin will you quit it with all these Interviews, I can't keep up!! Seriously though, they are great, there's just not enough hours in my life to fit them in.
