  1. Don't worry, I'll let you know. I'm currently designing the box. Here is a little teaser. I hope you people like it... That box looks GREAT.
  2. Considering this is a no profit project, and probably I will be loosing money at the short term, paying a 10% fee isn't an option unfortunately. Indie-go-go, perhaps?
  3. Hellz yeah! And I got to feel important while offering my two cents on a work in progress! My thoughts EXACTLY. A bigger venue would really help, if only to give people reason to stick around for a little while longer. It was supposed to go from 12 - 8, but I can't imagine there were many people there past 6:30. Three things I'd like to see from the next CCAG: 1. Bigger venue, as stated above. 2. More playable games, arcade or otherwise. 3. More homebrews! I think there was one table dedicated to repros, and one for homebrews (Arkhan's table), and that's it. I love the old stuff as much as anybody, but you gotta have some new and exciting things to show off!
  4. According to the other thread in the Events sub-forum, there will be Robotron, Zoo Keeper, and Crazy Kong, among others.
  5. That is a helluva game room. It looks like it took a lot of hard work, and it payed off!
  6. You can haggle a lot of them though - that's what I did last year, anyway. There's one guy who was there a couple years ago (the guy with the Pitfall Harry cartridge costume), who had really fair prices.
  7. Tempest, are you going to have a table for Atari Protos?
  8. YEEEESSSSSSS. This is going to be the best CCAG ever! (cue sentimental Christmas-y music)
  9. It's three for me: Zookeeper, Rogue, and a more arcade accurate version of Donkey Kong. Well, and maybe Robotron 2084. Okay, so there's really lot's of games that I want to see on the 2600!
  10. It seems like the ROM has been uploaded to archive.org (http://archive.org/details/vectrex-tsunami)... is it possible to get this on a custom cart from Classic Game Creations, or has Tumber specifically asked that no reproductions be made?
  11. I will be there! I'm really looking forward to it, and hoping I can score a couple games for my newly purchased Vectrex
  12. I think the only way I would take such a list seriously is if it were done by a group of video game, um, scholars, much like the AFI's lists for top movies and the like. Not to say that I would agree with it more, just that I would look at it and think about it more deeply. As such, this list is clearly done up by journalists who are a little too entrenched in the modern gaming sphere to be able to accurately take a step back and examine holistically.
  13. I would LOVE to find out how to get this game... I just got a Vectrex for my birthday yesterday!
  14. You know, why don't you have the keypad seperate? Something that's either tethered to the controller plug or the controller itself?
  15. Does my dad renting a game for me count? I remember when I was VERY young (like three or four) my dad renting an NES with SMB/DH and some Muppet game. I remember it came in a neon orange case.
  16. I myself started around 1999/2000, when I was just twelve years old. I think it came from my faint early childhood memories of when my dad and mom would play Pac-Man and Donkey Kong on our family's Tandy 1000. Not to mention I've also had a big love of history. Love of history plus love of video games equals love of vintage video games!
  17. A couple of the guys I know at the Victor Game Craze are who I'd call good people persons. I've mentioned the idea to them and they seem to be game
  18. Ooo! Me! I wanna buy a disk!
  19. Cool! I take it that it carries over similarities with Canyon Bomber?
  20. Paid really quick, and frankly, a joy to do business with. A model AA member!
  21. That would be excellent, as I am technologically backwards. I don't even have a facebook. Hot diggity! Well, let's get this ball a-rollin'! Hey all you fellow Upstate New Yorkers! Just wasn't sure if the idea of a gathering ever gathered any kind of steam. Nope, not yet, but it is still a dream of mine. Upstate Retro Gamers, unite!
  22. Hey guys - first time selling on these forums. I've got up for sale a boxed Atari Lynx (model 1) with Xybots, Hydra, and Kung Food, all in the box. I'd like to sell these together for $70 + $10 shipping. SOLD I also have six Nintendo 64 carts listed below: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - $15 Diddy Kong Racing - $15 Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - $10 Starfox 64 - $10 Goldeneye 007 - $10 Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - $8 EDIT: I'd also be willing to sell these as a lot for $40. Shipping for the cartridges is $2 for the first one and an additional dollar for each additional cart. I've got some pictures below. My wife took 'em for me! Thanks for looking!
  23. Just tried this one out - you could really be on to something here! Concerning the inability to turn a corner mid-line, maybe you could make it more like Jezz Ball? It's certainly very Qix-like. Anyway, great work!
