Hey Albert, I sent my score and screen shot in a good bit ago, and I never had an e-mail reply. I sent it right in to the e-mail address given on the page, but I never got a response. Do you want me to find the picture and try to post here (I dont really know how, but I'd be willing to learn)? Thanks

I sent in a score in june, but I never got any kind of response. Should I resend my score?

To tell you the truth, I don't know if most people at Nintendo even acknowledge Atari's existance, if you've ever read issues of Nintendo Power or been to the NOA website, they sort of treat themselves as if the entire industry began with them and the Famicom in 1983. It'd only be by pure chance that a NOA executive would make it's way to this forum, and even less so onto this topic. And what about Nintendo of Japan? Well, when they see this site, I'm willing to bet they're thinking about the good 'ol game of Go.

Nice work, it'll be interesting to see how this game progresses! It really amazes me how you fellas are able to do this kinda stuff, I can barely program in Java, and I took two courses in it! 2600 programmers are truly gifted people!

Something that is bothering me here, after having read some of this stuff, is why is Saboteur gone? That's Warshaw's game, dosen't he have the final say on who can release his games? I'm sorry if I'm sounding stupid here, but it is something I'd like to know. Oh yeah, and this whole situation is ridiculous. While it is true about all the legal schtuff that goes on, I can't possibly see any of the homebrew scene as damaging to "Atari." In fact, if I were in "Atari's" place, I'd see this as free publicity.... This whole thing is very sad, and dosen't really make too much sense

I've had the exact same problem now for more than a year, I still have no idea how to fix it. I think the problem lies in the type of video card, but I am not really sure. This problem has plagued me in many programs, including Atari 2600 emulators, none of which I have gotten to work on my computer. I really hope someone has an answer to this problem.

I'll third the CV version and second the NES version, although the NES version does have different music the gameplay and look of the game is very faithful to the arcade game. Q*Bert is one of my all-time favorite games

17 right here. Been on these boards since I was 14.

I'm going to third the idea of Zoo Keeper being ported, I would kill to see that game ported to the 2600, I dont care how much flicker there would be (flicker dosent really bother me that much) That game is one of my all-time favorite arcade games! Also, I think it would be cool to see Space Dungeon ported over to the 2600. I always liked that one too.

Stories about today's kids appreciating classic games?
Nateo replied to Streck's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I'm 17 and I've been playin the classics for a long time, prolly since I was three, both my mother and my father got me hooked on em My mother loved to play Space Invaders on our Tandy 1000 (she wont play anymore cause she says she's not as good as she used to be) and my dad would always show me games like Donkey Kong and Asteroids and the like. So yeah, I've been diggin the classics since 1990 -
What was your first video game system ever??
Nateo replied to vintagegamer89's topic in Classic Console Discussion
My first system that I ever owned was a Super Nintendo that my parents got me for Christmas back in 1995. They finally caved in after my brother and I had asked them year after year to get us some kind of video game for Xmas. The first video game I remember playing was Super Mario Bros. on the NES (I even have pictures of it some where) -
This is easy, Super Punch Out. I have played quite a few boxing games in my day, as I am a boxing fan, and nothin has been as fun as Super Punch Out. It's not as realistic as some boxing games, if ya want realistic go for the Knockout Kings. But for fun-factor, Super Punch Out wins hands down.

Man, that drawing is awesome! Say, you wouldn't happen to be the same Atariboy who posted up a few fan-arts on the Leela Zone, would ya?
-
Wow, that is very interesting. I like Mega Man a good bit, I'd like to try to find those two titles. I had absolutely no idea that those two games were released on the PC. Very kewl indeed.
-
Wow, I have never heard of the first three Mega Man games being released on the IBM PC. Does anybody have any information or screenshots regarding these ports? Oh, and by the way, MM2 is by far the best

Arcade Classics we missed out on!
Nateo replied to GrandviewCoin's topic in Classic Console Discussion
That's weird. I distincly remember my father renting an NES and a Mappy game catridge so that my brother and I could play it.... weird. -
I just organize mine flat-out alphabetically. I dont feel like I have enough to sort them out by make yet, as I only have about 90 carts, if that makes any sense.
-
Well, I managed to get 76,050. It's been so long since I've been able to participate in this, what with final projects and exams for school and whatnot
-
I was about to post the same kind of thing! I'm really excited about the game and it's amazing what Paul Slocum has done so far with game! I can't wait!
-
I've got the Tournament Edition, and for the life of me I can't pass 23,000. Nice job on that sweet score!

Yie Ar Kung-Fu reservation list (ColecoVision)
Nateo replied to opcode's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Dude, that is freaking Gradius, on a ColecoVision!!! If I had any cash whatsoever, I'd pre-order that in a heartbeat. Keep up the amazing work -
Say, do you remeber that Ken Love fella talking about somethin called a Coleco Bulldog? Maybe this has something to do with what he was talking about...
-
I'd say my white whale is any 2600 game with a rarity higher than a four
-
Gradius III in the arcade is beyond difficult. Gradius III goes into insane territory.
-
Well, I just gave this a shot last night, and eventually ended up with a (what I hope to be) a respectable 1610. (Sorry, no pic, XP sucks!)
