The knobs on my Telstar Alpha are kinda jittery. Is it possible to clean the knobs the same way Atari paddles are cleaned? Thanx.

Well, I know today most people call it the 2600, but which would you really prefer to call the Atari 2600 VCS (or whatever)? As for myself, there's something about calling it the VCS. I dont know, I just like callin it the VCS better

Wow, that is a nice map! Certainly a much better job than I could have done! Now I just need to download the ROM and actually play the game...

I just found this on the net. It's not much, just a forum discussion, but it could help you in your search. http://smbis.nescentral.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26 I too, am REALLY interested in seeing this thing. If ANY of you guys finds this and puts it in some sort of computer media format, please let me know!

Oh man, I play this game a bunch on my TI-83 plus duiring school (that is, AFTER I finish my work ). But man, that game's a blast. I didn't discover it until a few months ago when I bought it for my NES and absolutely loved it. Of course, the only drawback to the TI game, of course, no music. The music is awesome on the NES.

I like the look of just about any system with phony wood on it. Other than that tho, I've always really liked the way the ColecoVision looked. It just gives off this sense of power..... As for ugly lookin crap-for-craps: Xbox / PS2 - sorry. these do NOT look like vg systems. They look like freakin stereo componets! Intellivision System III - it's just not pretty. No woodgrain! N64 - yeah, now that I think about it, this WAS an ugly console. Game Boy (orginial) - I dunno bout this one. Just never really liked the way it looked.

While I am 16 and (of course) still live at home, I do know some cheap meal ideas. Tuna Melts Plop some tuna on a slice o bread and put a slice o cheese on that, and put it in the (microwave)oven for a bit. Six bucks worth of tuna melts should last ya a good week and a half. As far as soda goes, if you really need it, go for it, but if you can live without it, just go with water. Also, pepperoni and mustard sandwiches work pretty good.

Well, I love all of the previously mentioned, but one I really like that has failed to be mentioned is Star Trek: SOS. Man, I freakin love that game...

I cannot wait for this to be released. This is looking so awesome. Hopefully it will be done before Christmas, so's I can stick it on my Christmas list

Well all I've ever been able to program in is a few versions of BASIC (Atari, Microsoft, etc.) and Java. Thats the extent of my programming knowledge...

Im pretty young then according to you guys.... I'm 16

I'm also 16, and I'd rather play a game of Galaga any day over some crap for GameCube or PS2 (or that other one). To me, the older games are the best ones. My brother, however, who is only two years younger than me, highly dislikes (im not gonna say hate, he does like a few) any video game released before 1985. One of his more popular complaints is that video games should have in depth story lines.

Which FF games have you NOT played? (and why?)
Nateo replied to RCmodeler's topic in Classic Console Discussion
i've only really played thru Mystic Quest, tho ive played a little bit of the others. The reason i havent really played them? I just dont care enough, and i think the series is highly overrated. -

Yeah, I figuired that. Though the disk label is awkward, it says "DUNKING KUNG." Strange stuff.

One of my friends would like to know if there is something that allows him to hook up his Atari and NES and stuff to his computer monitor. Could you give me any links to websites or anything like that that would sell this sort of device? Thanx

I have a Donkey Kong disk for my old Tandy 1000 (5.25 inch disk) from Atarisoft. Do any of you guys know what this is worth?

Has anyone ever become frustrated enuf to do this to a game?
Nateo replied to Derek's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well, when I get mad a video game, I usually slam the controller to the ground and pound my fist on either the bed or the couch, and if im in my basement, I punch my punching bag. -
Id like Astrosmash a little better if it had harder settings, but i like it pretty good
