  1. By the way, what did you guys pick up at the Philly? I got:

    -Coleco Expansion Module #1

    -another NES

-1050 Disk Drive (no cords, but Tempest is on top of that)

-Pacman and Star Raiders for the 800

    -Popeye for ColecoVision

-AD&D Treasure of Tarmin for Intelly (in box)

    -Some 2600 games:

    -Riddle of the Sphinx

    -Star Trek (in box)

    -Wizard of Wor (in box)

    -RealSports Boxing

    -Vault Assult TE

    -SCSIside

  2. I've already tried it in a real 2600, worked just fine. It must be a wierd conversion problem. Oh well, I was going to take out the 2600 and set it back up anyway (the converter won't play any SuperCharger stuff)

  3. I'll agree. It was so cool getting to see all of you guys! I saw Cassidy, Tempest, Albert, Stan, Joel (although he didn't see me), Dan Boris (same deal), Curt Vendel, and Joe Grand. I probably missed a few, but anyhow, it was great getting to see you all. I can't belive how much my dad liked hearing about the Computer Space/Nolan Bushnell story that Cassidy told him and my brother. The minute we came home my dad wanted to look at my Supercade book so he could look at the part about computer space.

And yes Stan, I definetly can build a Star Wars Cockpit machine (not an exact replica, but pretty darned close!)

  4. I thought the original Super Mario Bros. was too easy. It redifined the genre of arcade platform games, but it was just too easy.

Super Mario Bros. 2(not Lost Levels) was a graphic hack of another game called Doki Doki Panic. Still, it was a great game.

Now, my favorite would have to be SMB 3, because it was just plain fun. I remember going to my uncle's house (who had an NES) and I always wanted to see him play SMB3.

  5. My 12 year-old brother's friend just got a 2600 off of eBay today! He really wanted one after playing games like Chopper Command, Astroblast, and, of course, Warlords. I've just got this really great feeling inside right now from doing that, like I had just evangelized to someone and accepted (it's kind of an exaggeration, but oh well)
