I really need to bring more money next time around, I went from going in with $90, to coming out with $2!
-
I've already tried it in a real 2600, worked just fine. It must be a wierd conversion problem. Oh well, I was going to take out the 2600 and set it back up anyway (the converter won't play any SuperCharger stuff)
-
When I tried to play Vault Assult (tournament edition) on my Atari - Coleco converter, it would not play. Can anyone give me some help?

Pretty close to the youngest one, Atari Master Marty is only twelve.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. I just catch onto things quickly.
As for how old I am, Atari Freak, I'm fourteen (I'll be fifteen in a couple o' months)

I'll agree. It was so cool getting to see all of you guys! I saw Cassidy, Tempest, Albert, Stan, Joel (although he didn't see me), Dan Boris (same deal), Curt Vendel, and Joe Grand. I probably missed a few, but anyhow, it was great getting to see you all. I can't belive how much my dad liked hearing about the Computer Space/Nolan Bushnell story that Cassidy told him and my brother. The minute we came home my dad wanted to look at my Supercade book so he could look at the part about computer space.
And yes Stan, I definetly can build a Star Wars Cockpit machine (not an exact replica, but pretty darned close!)

My dad, my "little" brother, and I are staying at the Courtyard at Marriott. Can't wait to meet you guys!
-
Wow!!! If you're going to Philly, can ya bring some of that stuff along!
I'm really excited about the brand new systems!

I like the 2600 b/c of it's nostaligic appeal to it. Whenever I see a six switch, it reminds me of that day six years ago when my uncle first showed me one.
-
oh yeah... and Atari-Jess cartoons!
-
Yeah man, you've missed alot! Adrian bashing Gamecube w/Xbox, a huge discussion on the ET landfill (were you here for that?), and um... Moycon and the wierd things that happen around him...
-
Hey! Welcome to the boards! I'm fourteen myself by the way. You can check out 4Jays. But since you live in Canada, it would cost a bit for shipping.

I thought the original Super Mario Bros. was too easy. It redifined the genre of arcade platform games, but it was just too easy.
Super Mario Bros. 2(not Lost Levels) was a graphic hack of another game called Doki Doki Panic. Still, it was a great game.
Now, my favorite would have to be SMB 3, because it was just plain fun. I remember going to my uncle's house (who had an NES) and I always wanted to see him play SMB3.

I'll stick out like a sore thumb. I'm VERY pale, and have dark hair, so it will make me look even... um... pale-er. Most likely I will wear an dark blue Atari logo shirt (just like everyone else I bet)
-
Same here man, I wan't the Philly to be here right now!!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be my first convention!
-
Have you guys seen this yet? Man, this guy really hits the nail on the head when it comes to the sort of topics he talks about.
Check it out here: Retrogaming Radio

That's incredibly awesome! These next 2 1/2 weeks are going to be the longest in my life.
-
I suppose I could trade my 5 year-old brother in...
-
Can I buy some of this stuff from you guys? I don't have any duplicates of my games, therefore having nothing I would really like to trade. That isin't a problem is it?
-
My 12 year-old brother's friend just got a 2600 off of eBay today! He really wanted one after playing games like Chopper Command, Astroblast, and, of course, Warlords. I've just got this really great feeling inside right now from doing that, like I had just evangelized to someone and accepted (it's kind of an exaggeration, but oh well)

Which game should be ported to ATARI 2600 ?
in Atari 2600

Either Punch-Out!! or Hogan's Alley.
And, of course Super Mario Bros. (don't we all?)
