  2. Have you guys seen this yet? Man, this guy really hits the nail on the head when it comes to the sort of topics he talks about. Check it out here: Retrogaming Radio
  3. That's incredibly awesome! These next 2 1/2 weeks are going to be the longest in my life.
  4. I suppose I could trade my 5 year-old brother in...
  5. Can I buy some of this stuff from you guys? I don't have any duplicates of my games, therefore having nothing I would really like to trade. That isin't a problem is it?
  6. My 12 year-old brother's friend just got a 2600 off of eBay today! He really wanted one after playing games like Chopper Command, Astroblast, and, of course, Warlords. I've just got this really great feeling inside right now from doing that, like I had just evangelized to someone and accepted (it's kind of an exaggeration, but oh well)
  7. Man, I've just played Zaxxon for my CV, and now I'm hooked! I can't let a day go by without playing it for at least a half an hour! I only have five games though, so I get out of the pretty quickly.
  8. Would the rack-mounted ColecoVision and Intellivision have controller holsters on either side of the system?
  9. Welcome to the boards! Just curious, which grade do you teach?
  10. I think I,Robot would have been possible to some extent, probably having the same view as Crystal Castles for the 2600. (Hey, there's an idea for one of your mock-ups Moycon)
  11. I hope Adrian dosen't like his Xbox more than his Atari...
  12. Welcome, Junkie! We're all pretty friendly here, just don't start up any verbal wars with the three new doorstops, oops, I mean systems (just kidding)
  13. My DOB is 6/25/87, and that makes me fourteen. My first system was a Super NES that I got Christmas of '96. My first computer was a Tandy 1000 that my dad bought two years before I was born.
  14. Woah! SMW for the Genny? Could someone post a link to the ROM?
  15. Do ya s'pose Chad could get a patent on his creation? And in the mean time, do you think Bridgestone Media and Chad could give someone else the rights to build the Cuttle Carts?
  16. As far as classic systems go... -Four-switch 2600 -ColecoVision -Intellivision -Atari 800 -Tandy 1000 -and some consider it classic (I don't): NES
  17. Unfortunately, all my video game stuff was forced to the bowels of the basement. My brother and I share a room, and he started to complain about my "ancient relics" taking up too much space.
  18. I don't think the arcade version of Ms. Pac-Man had any kind of pattern, it was randomized.
  19. As for myself, I usually wait until lots of ghosts are grouped together, nab a power pill, and crunch the ghosts. And when I am going for survival instead of points, I tend to use the tunnels a lot on account of the ghosts seldom using them to get around.
  20. I hoping to participate this year, and I really need to get jumpstart on practicing.
  21. quote: Originally posted by Inky: Just funnin' on ya Stan. Like I said to the other newbie, we're all pretty good friends around here and we can talk just about anything. Except GameCube vs. X-Box. Gamecube is the best! I mean... welcome to the boards!
  22. YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GONNA GET TO GO TO PHILLY THIS YEAR!!!!!!! My first classic gaming convention! I'm so psyched! I can't wait to go!
  23. I just got Supercade at Borders. Man, I could look through this book for hours on end. I hope I see more like 'em!
  24. Does anyone know about how much one of these things cost? It sounds like a neat system to have.
  25. I use a metal box I made in Tech class last year to store my Atari carts (it holds 42 carts). I also use an old cart holder from about 1983(which holds 18). [ 03-21-2002: Message edited by: Nateo ]
