Pathological or compulsive hoarding is a specific type of behavior characterized by: acquiring and failing to throw out a large number of items that would appear to have little or no value to others (e.g., papers, notes, flyers, newspapers, clothes) severe cluttering of the person's home so that it is no longer able to function as a viable living space significant distress or impairment of work or social life I'd say collecting if we are going by the definition.

plyboult replied to toptenmaterial's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I didn't even know this existed for the Wii... I checked ebay and prices are ridiculous ($85 or more shit!) Great find though. -

Any Retro Collectors in the upstate NY area?
plyboult replied to VicViper's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Last year there was a Jr for sale there on the cheap & I didn't pick it up when I should have. Also there's an elderly lady there who always sells older games & stuff. -

Don't mean to bump a super old thread... but, though I am not a "collector" I do play games & have gotten back into some Atari lately. I am located in Syracuse. MicroGame is a nice store, GameCraze is cool too but seems like they have the same stuff all the time. I haven't been to the Farmer's Market in awhile since I work Sunday Mornings, but they usually have some older classic stuff down there. -
wonderfully cool man... it's threads like this that make so happy to be apart of AtariAge. Cannot wait to hear more about this work!

Voltage Video Games - Syracuse, NY
plyboult replied to Metal Ghost's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I agree downtown is extremely lacking minus the bars... Sound Garden I have not been there in years, since I don't buy cds or dvds anymore. One thing I will say is that it's great to have determined people & this guy seemed to know his stuff quite a bit (though he didn't even know Halo 2600 has been released!!). Have you checked out MicroGames in Clay? Now that is a great store with lots of stuff... nothing really rare or whatnot, but they sell plenty Atari stuff & had some 5200 games last time I was there. -

I went in there this afternoon...nothing really spectacular, selection was quite small but the place was pretty clean. I talked to who apparently was the owner, very very nice guy & seemed to be serious about the shop. They had some 2600 games but they were all very common; Game Craze has a better retro selection (including Lynx games!) but he did say they would be getting more stuff very soon. I'll be checking back. -
Was going to start a new thread but I think it's better to just ask in here; was just curious about actual Lynx Game cases? Would the original GB game cases fit the games?
