  1. Toliettunes- And also Wii Play. In a few days, 1UP will make a top 10 games, and Wii Play will be number 2 with Wii Sports as number 1. Then, they will make a worst 10 games with earthbound being on the list.
  2. I think that its a good idea, but firstly the game's graphics would have to be way toned down and we would have to find some way to store more on the cartridge- I think a ps1 game has about 720 mb, so unless you are going to make it for jag cd... But maybe if you really tone down the graphics and make it on jag CD, this would be possible.
  3. Wow it really suprises me how thin the inside of the lynx is. Is it really that thin, or is it just the picture?
  4. May have found a Jaguar reference in the 3ds video app. In a video, a lawyer asks a minotaur "Where did YOU learn to fight?". Maybe a coincidence, but it seems pretty close to the cybermorph lady. Link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFkTu_Yetcc

  5. Hey, eric, do you think you could tell me a little bit about the game? I'm having trouble finding some information about it. Also, did you finish the game or is it a reproduction cart? Thanks! Bugaham
  6. Sorry if I'm making too many threads, this should be my last thread with a lynx question for a long while! I'm going to get my Lynx sometime next week, but if it doesn't come with an AC adapter, I might want to try an AC adapter I found that looks strangely like the ones the lynx has. Its been lying around in my house for quite some time now. It is not an atari ac adapter, but from the company aiwa. However, it looks EXACTLY like the Lynx adapter! I found varying things from the sources I found, so thats why I came here. Input: 120V 60Hz 8W Output: 5.5V 250mA I don't want to plug the adapter into the lynx to find that its too much power and then fries the lynx.. Can someone who has a Lynx tell me if this AC adapter that I have is safe to use? Its a Lynx 2, if that helps. Thanks!
  7. Rex Dart- Its called Player One Video Games, but I'm not sure how much lynx stuff you would find- the guy said the lynx stuff had been sitting there for 5 or 6 months, and seeing as there's only a lynx and 8 games (I actually think the 8 games might even come with the lynx) I'll probably clear it out when I go again later next week. However, they did have a boatload of both boxed and loose 2600, 5200, and 7800, and consoles of all 3. There was also a jag and maybe 4 or 5 games with it. Edit- In the way of non-atari stuff, there was all nintendo things, even virtual boy. There was all sega things, MS, Genesis, Game Gear, Nomad, Saturn, and DC. There was Wonder Swan, WS Color, Neo Geo, Neo Geo Pocket Color, a BUNCH of japanese imports, and a handheld console I had never heard of before that was portrait like the game boy, but hugely bulky like the Lynx 2. edit- found on google, its the NEC Turbo Express.
  8. Really? I heard that Kung Food is awful, Batman is good but too hard, and Hydra and SotB are awesome.
  9. I went to the store, and they sadly didn't have any of those games They had 8 lynx games, only ones I remember were Hydra, Batman, and Shadow of the Beast. I think the rest were ones that were awful, one of them might have been Kung Food but I just don't remember. They also had Jag stuff, but it was a bit overpriced so I didn't get any. They had a Lynx 2 for 70$, but the buttons and dpad were a bit worn down, I think, and the guy at the counter said they've had the lynx for 5 or 6 months, so I think if I go back in a few weeks to see if they got any new games and see if they will drop the lynx price a bit, it will still be there. Hopefully they will have some of those games you guys reccommended when I go back!
  10. Thanks everyone for your replies! I'm going to the game store tommorow morning, I'll see which ones they have! Bugaham
  11. PFG- Sadly, its a bit far from you, in Friendswood Texas (Near Houston). Its not right next door to me, but its somewhat close.
  12. Clean Larry, I was just wondering, will you continue selling this game after all the backorders are done? Thanks!
  13. Thanks everyone! I'll look at my local classic game store (they sell lynx stuff there.) to see if they have steel talons, xenophobe, slimeworld, and crystal mines 2.
  14. I'm really interested in getting a lynx. However, I'm not getting it to collect for it, I want to get it for gaming. I love handhelds, and the atari lynx looks like a great handheld for me. I am overwhelmed though by the amount of interesting games- Battlewheels, Blue Lightning, Chip's Challenge, Klax, Rampage, Stun Runner, Toki.. Not to mention all the awesome-looking homebrew stuff I saw! I just want to start with maybe 2 games or so. I figured that asking at these forums would be a good idea. So, if I got 2 games to start with, which 2 games would you guys recommend? I am just looking for fun games with a high replay value
