  1. Another visitor. Stay a while. Stay forever! --C64: Impossible Mission
  2. I'm currently downsizing my collection so that I can move interstate and take only what can fit in my car. Meaning that I have a LOT of consoles on the way out of my house. While I haven't been able to narrow it down to one console, atm I'm only keeping my SNES, my Dreamcast, and my 2600. I just got rid of my NES collection the other day, and damn that hurt to get rid of it.
  3. I recently just had some of my NES collection up on eBay. I'm normally a buyer, not a seller. During which a potential bidder, ebannie, asked if I had a Buy It Now price, which I didn't. It was auction only. Well my auction ended for $530 Australian, which I am very happy about. So then I get another message from ebannie: well, i guess maybe next time you might consider a buy it now, consering i was willing to pay 850 delivered but you didnt get close to what i was prepared to pay, but if your happy with what u got then have a great day, cheers eb Do sellers normally get this kind of contact from the people who didn't win the auction?
  4. Hey guys, Just letting all you SMS collectors out there that I have this little gem up for auction: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 200886339281
  5. I haven't come across pica-pic before. I collect these, but tend to stick the the games that are VFD as opposed to LCD. I really cant say that I have much of an interest in playing these games emulated on my desktop. That said, hopefully some emulation will bring some of the outrageous prices down on these products.
  6. Funny, a friend found a loose cart on the ground and gave it to me. It was AoE. I checked it out and it's pretty good.
  7. Sorry Metal Jesus, but I have to completely disagree with you on Micro Machines V4. My household used to hardcore MM1-3. We love them. But when we brought home V4, we were just completely disappointed. We gave it a chance, forcing ourselves to play it for a week, but we've never gone back to it.
  8. I did get Hotel Dusk at launch, I put a few hours into it, and then shelved it. Maybe I'll pick it up again and give it a raz.
  9. I'll back it for a DC version, but I'd really like a handheld version.
  10. Thanks guys! I'll be picking up a heap of these recommendations soon.
  11. I'm looking at doing a MASSIVE culling on my games and consoles from all kind of systems so that my collection is much more focused on portable gaming. I unfortunately just don't have the time to sit down and hog the TV for video games, but I can still easily dedicate lots of time to handheld gaming. So I'm looking at using all of the cash I make from the sales to greatly expand my DS collection whilst alot of great titles can be grabbed cheap and easy. What are some absolute must haves and hidden gems that I should be looking for for the DS?
  12. One thing that I have just noticed examining the disc up against one of my other legit games is that the Experience disc doesn't have the PS logos on the read side of the disc.
  13. If you're used to playing the early RPG's where you do pretty much nothing but grind, you'll love it.
  14. Im still chipping my way through Etrian Odyssey. It's a slow grind, but I'm getting there.
  15. I came across a couple of PS2 games that caught my eye today at a 2nd hand store. They were Shining Force EXA and Samurai Champloo Sidetracked. What is different about them to normal PS2 games is that they're not packaged like other PS2 games. At the top it reads PlayStation 2 EXPERIENCE and has a PS2 symbol with a penguin wearing a scarf. At first I thought they were just some pirate games, but then I noticed on the read side of the disc it reads Shining Force EXA USA PS2 DVD, which could have only been done if this disc was purposefully made for this game, and a normal pirate disk wouldn't be like that, right? Anyone come across these before?
  16. Hmm... Wonder if this will raise or lower the value of my MVS and games.
  17. Awesome! I'll be buying a cart if one is released!
  18. Pretty cool judging by the pics. I was just reading about this on retrocollect.com Anyone got a youtube vid of it yet?
  19. I ended up putting down cash for an LE OUYA, with extra control and international shipping.
  20. I love my handhelds, and I'm glad I didn't invest in a Vita on launch. I'll get one a few years from now and I'm sure I'll love it.
  21. Same. I've got plans to make a real good crack at it in 2013.
  22. FFIII is going to need a massive graphics overhaul for me to warrant a purchase. I already have to DS port of the game. If they change the graphics to either something along the lines of FFVIII, or a beautiful hand drawn look, I'll be forking out the cash.
