56 across wasn't going to work, so I plan to divide both directions in half and use 28x16.

Just finished fiscal month end at work and my folks are arriving today for a 2 week visit. As such, I don't expect to see any additional progress on this for a couple more weeks.

Sweet! Thanks

-
ah - that makes more sense, I didn't understand "diagram marvelous" or "zocker" Thanks!

I'll have to check out Rally B again - I don't recall the cars being different colors. There was probably some updates to it since I last looked.
The roads in RRR don't look that squished on the real thing - at least on the NTSC version.
EDIT - I take that back - it is pretty squished.

To-Do request:
Mac Folder icon superimposed with an Atari logo
Pretty please

I ain't sayin' nothin', except that one of the games is most definitely not Moon Cresta.

Ooooh - so the one that's not Moon Cresta is Wizard of Wor

Those new player sprites look excellent, can't wait to see the rest

Climber 5 climbed 1 over the weekened, so MM's back to #10.

Medieval Mayhem took me about 9 months to write. I already knew 6502 programming, but it had been a long time since I'd used it.

they're a "rank" based on how many posts you've made.

Rally X is on hold
Who was working on Rally X? I was thinking about doing that once I finish helping David with his hack.

Looks like you're replacing Warlords as the "Tournament game of choice".

Apparently so - I've heard it's appearing in another tourny next weekend.

I found out about the AC2007 and the video from this discussion thread after googling "medieval mayhem" atari. I ran it thru babelfish. This bit keyed me to the existance of the video:
It ets well Medieval Mayhem which one sees on video MK at the time of AC?
I then had a good laugh at this comment asking if it's the Joust Ostrich going across the middle of the screen:
Ca seems to renew Warlords indeed. It is well a standard ostrich Joust which passes in the medium?
This may be a valid issue for PAL users, though the grin may signify it as a toungue-in-cheek complaint:
one is frustrated when one sees it remaking a ptit turn before launching the baballe
I ran out of time at the end and only did 1 set of animation sequences, so the dragon's a little bit slower on PAL systems. There's two fireball movement tables, so the fireball moves at the same speed on both PAL and NTSC systems.
I noticed the jump to #9 on Sunday - I was video conferencing with my nephew and saw that when I sent him a link.

Yep - S-Video modded Atari's rock.
Wizard of Wor was one of my favorite arcade games back in the day. I was impressed that the Atari version followed the arcade version of using the right joystick, not the left. The "fly" would be the worlock.
You should have a blast with 4-player Warlords. If you do, you may wish to check out my remake of it, Medieval Mayhem. There's a couple videos there and the ROMs to try it out on your computer(though note that the mouse makes a poor replacement for a paddle controller).

Ah - I was looking for a TIA reference

-
That's pretty wild - never knew there was an arcade system based on the 2600's hardware.
What's the "fine print" on the KLOV site though?
-
Yep - they should have just picked either 720p or 1080i at a single frame rate instead of 18 different formats. I'd have opted for 1080i as it could easily provide 1080p using existing pull-down techniques.

Minor typo:
You'd better be fast - buy accuracy counts too! -
thanks for posting the mixer - I like that solution better than the old set of speakers I'd been using.
