  1. @JasonlikesINTV: You called that one - zero bites on it. In looking over the Intellivision areas on eBay, it looks like the market is flooded with cartridges and hardware as of late. Not sure what has everyone listing them... Anyway, I'm thinking I'll follow your advice and whack up the lot. Seems like I might have better look at selling at least a few games that way. Thanks for the input.
  2. Let's try this again...btw all have been tested and work (except for the sealed ones, obviously)...
  3. If anyone is interested, I'm selling most of my Intellivision stuff on E-bay. A few rares, lots of commons...pretty wide collection of items. I don't actively play them anymore and I figure someone out there will get some enjoyment out of them. The game list is as follows: # Name Manual Box Overlays Sealed 1 Demon Attack x 2 Donkey Kong 3 Donkey Kong 4 Armor Battle x x 2 5 Dragonfire x x 2 6 Beauty & The Beast x x 1 7 Vectron x x 2 8 Motocross x x 2 9 NBA Basketball x x 2 10 NFL Football x x 2 11 Major League Baseball x x 2 12 Major League Baseball x x 2 13 Pitfall x x 14 Space Battle x x 2 15 Night Stalker x x 2 16 NASL Soccer x 17 Donkey Kong x x 18 Atlantis x x 2 19 NBA Basketball x x 2 20 Safecracker x x 2 21 Skiing x x 22 Skiing x x 2 23 Bowling x x 1 24 Q-bert x x 25 Q-bert x x 26 Horse Racing x x 2 27 Frog Bog x x 2 28 Frogger x x 29 Frogger x x 30 NHL Hockey x x 2 31 Beamrider x x 2 32 Centipede x x 33 Space Battle x x 2 34 Donkey Kong Jr x 35 Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back x 36 Las Vegas BlackJack & Poker x 37 Loco-Motion x 38 NHL Hockey x 39 He-Man x 40 Las Vegas BlackJack & Poker x 41 Atlantis x 42 Space Armada x 43 Lock'N'Chase 44 Tennis x 45 Motocross x 46 Beauty & The Beast x 47 Astrosmash 48 NFL Football x 49 Burgertime x x 2 x 50 Sub Hunt x x 2 x 51 Sharp Shot x x 2 x 52 Vectron x x 2 x 53 Super Pro Football x x 2 x 54 Astrosmash x x 2 x 55 Shark Shark! x x 2 x 56 Treasure of Tarmin x x 2 x 57 Maze-A-Tron x x 2 x 58 NASL Soccer x x 2 x 59 Space Hawk x x 2 x 60 Space Armada x x 2 x 61 Armor Battle x x 2 x 62 Royal Dealer x x 2 x 63 Triple Action x x 2 x 64 Utopia x x 2 x 65 Snafu x x 2 x 66 Venture x x 2 x 67 Star Strike x x 2 x 68 Microsurgeon x x 2 x 69 Demo Attack x x 2 x 70 Lock'N'Chase x x 2 x 71 Tennis x x 2 x 72 Night Stalker x x 2 x 73 B-17 Bomber x x 2 Anyway, if you're interested, the auction is at http://www.ebay.com/itm/191643518394?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649. BTW - I took a total SWAG at the price for the listing. If anyone has a price for all this that is more "aligned with reality" I won't be offended by suggestions. Cheers!
  4. Glad to hear you're OK - sorry to hear the car wasn't Looks like I was misreading save2600's "1010" reference - I was thinking he meant an Amiga 1010 external drive, not the Atari 1010 recorder I have to say though (after looking up what an Atari 1010 was) that is one sweet lookin tape drive...much prettier than the Commodore 1530--all iterations--by a long shot!
  5. Not sure how early Saturday, but I'll definitely be there! @save2600: Main reason I'm going - hoping to score a uIEC...now, if I can get my mits on a 1010, that'd just be icing on the cake
  6. Well, I'm one step closer to getting my Amigas setup. I went ahead and picked up an A520, and while it worked OK, it definitely looks worse than I remember (of course, I wasn't looking at it on a 50" TV back in the 90s, either). Well, and err...my bright idea to plug the NTSC A520 into my PAL A600 didn't look too pretty...but I digress... Anyway, I bought a 1084S, and a GBS-8220 just to test those out. I'm expecting I'll get the best looking picture with the 1084S. Anyone have any experience hooking the GBS-8220 to an LCD? Thanks.
  7. You might want to do a RetroUSB for the C64. I've used mine (with a SlikStick) in both WinVICE and WinUAE and they work GREAT...I'm actually thinking about getting another one LOL They're at: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=70.
  8. Thanks for the RetroBrite pointer - I checked it out and I must say it is impressive. I think I'm going to try it on the case and see what happens...not like it's a big loss if I dick it up, since it is/will be a spare. If I can manage to do it without ruining anything, will have to try it on the mouse shell. @amiman99: I'd definitely be interested in the IDE controller - seems pretty reasonable a price. Shoot me a PM when you've got a sec, thanks. I don't need the A500 case right now, but I'll keep you in mind in case I ruin my spare during RetroBrite testing As far as the Dell monitor goes, that'd be a great idea, but having another 23" monitor on my desk would cut into my workspace way too much (I've already got a 27" one as my main). Aside from that, the 23" looks like it's going for the same $$$ as I could get an Indivision for. On the other hand...I suppose if I went the SR2320L route, I could hook an A600/A1200 to it in the future (whereas the Indivision limits me). Just curious - does anyone out there already have the Indivision that could comment on their experience with the product? It looks mind-numbingly simple to install, I just don't want to shell out the $$$ if someone says its worse than the A520 adapter LOL
  9. Thanks for the replies, all. I managed to snag an A500 with a 512K expansion off ebay. The pictures were too small to tell, but it evidently belonged to a smoker. It was badly yellowed, not to mention it smelled like the "Marlboro Piss Palace". I tried to clean it up, but the stink in the case/keyboard was too bad to tolerate (and it looked like it had NEVER been cleaned). So, I have a case and a keyboard coming from the UK that I am going to transfer the guts over to. The shipping was pretty salty, but the outside of that A500 was just too nasty to even want to touch. Now I just need to find a mouse that doesn't look like it resided in the oil pan for someone's car... I'm still trying to make up my mind whether I'm going to go the Indivision of A520 route. It'll likely be the Indivision, since A) I remember the RF output being pretty crappy, and B) I don't want to have to have another monitor on my already crowded desk. Still going to try to pickup an A600/A1200 someplace, because I can't do anything half-assed when I start collecting stuff (type A personality and all)...
  10. Hi All- Looking to get back into the "old school" scene, and have expanded my wishlist to Amiga stuff (I've already went nuts with Intellivision stuff/picked up a C64 & 1541). I used to have an A500 about 20 years ago--it's painful to type that--and it went dead. About 10 years ago, I picked up one off e-bay and then sold it about 8 mos. later for like $21...and still kickin myself. I'm trying to get my hands on an A500 off e-bay (they keep getting snatched up last minute), but what I'd really prefer to have is an A1200. If anyone has a spare laying around (they don't want a small mint for ), please let me know. I might be inclined to go the A600 route if someone has one for a reasonable $$$. Thanks, in advance.
  11. Again, thanks for the warm welcomes! @nonner242: I was just looking at your "arsenal". Appears I've got quite a ways to go to get to your level of junkie, but I'm working on it! Any man who displays River Raid proudly, face up in his collection is an alright cat in my book @IntellivisionDude: Was checking out some of your you tube videos - nice work. And nice score on the boxed copy of River Raid! (-> makes jealous face). I might jump in the HSC here in a bit. Gotta get the thumbs back into Bantam fighting shape... @Roberto: After a few lots today, looks like I'm somewhere around 85/90 cartridges for the current total. I was going to buy a lot with another 10, but it was a lot of dupes. Decided my money would be better spent on a complete copy of Beamrider, than a lot with a fourth copy of Night Stalker and Armor Battle Luckily there weren't any boxed copies of River Raid--in case you haven't noticed, I spent WAY too much time playing that on my INTV System Changer as a kid--and I couldn't see spending $25+ on a loose cartridge. I'll be patient though...IntellivisionDude can't have the only boxed copy "out in the wild"... On an unrelated note, did anyone see there is a copy of Congo Bongo listed on ebay for $999 (eBay Auction -- Item Number: 290554859134)!? I can't imagine that's gonna sell for anywhere near that (not to me, anyway) - that box looks like someone stood on it!
  12. Thanks for the welcomes! @SlowCoder: Yeah, I'm going to take a whack at it myself, but it is nice to know there are some "Jedi Masters" on here to help me out! @nonner242: I'm sure there are differing degrees of "junkies", but I'm already well on my way. I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 games when I got done cataloging them in Excel y-day. I'm that type-A personality that can't do anything half-assed...
  13. Talk about your unexpected...so, I'm having lunch with one of my long time friends the a few weeks and we start talking about D&D stuff. We get on our usual discussion of C64/Amiga games we used to play (Bard's Tale, Might and Magic...and of course bitch about having to "insert disk 8 side 2") and somehow the AD&D Cloudy Mountain game comes out of my mouth. Next thing I know, I'm on the internet FOR HOURS reading everything I can about Intellivision and reliving being 8/9 and playing that game...and it snowballs from there. Soon, I've got 10 cartridges coming my way, and Intellivision I, and an Intellivision II. I just got the units in the mail yesterday and I have to say, it's just as fun as I remember. I plugged in Beauty & the Beast and must've sat there for an hour playing it... I'd actually gotten back into collecting in the early 90s, but then it wore off and I sold all my stuff. Looks like I've returned in force, because now I've turned into a total collecting junkie. My Intellivision II has (what I think to be) some issue with the RF on it, but I'm already in the process of trying to snag another one so I can pop it open and cross compare. I like to tinker with stuff like that, even though I'm an "electronics cripple"... Anyway, just wanted to say HI...sure I'll be seeing you guys on the auction sites buying your spares! BTW - just read that thread about Mud Buggies going for $1826...and I thought I was crazy paying $8 for a sealed copy of Night Stalker...
