  1. Anyone know how to make a CompactFlash card bootable for a Win98 PC? Trying to use one to replace a dying HD on a laptop

      You can get a 44-pin IDE adapter for CompactFlash, and I'm sure I've even seen them in a 2.5" enclosure. Your computer should be able to detect it just like an IDE hard drive. I used one with a DOS 486 PC for quite some time.
