Also stick a heat sink on the SID, they get pretty hot too and can die from overheating. -
If you're buying things, international shipping honestly isn't a big deal aside from being slightly more expensive than domestic shipping. I buy stuff from Japan like every few weeks and there's zero hassle to it.

I got mine today, I haven't played much yet but it looks absolutely stunning and it plays just as well. Honestly this is the best homebrew for the 7800 and the sheer amount of effort put into everything from the packaging, manual, and the game itself is evident. Well done!

There's no such thing as the "Mark II" BTW, I think you mean the SG-1000. -
All Light Sixers are like that. There were some minor board differences made over the years, but it wasn't until the 4-switch console that the innards were completely redesigned.

Well this is interesting, it turns out my ColecoVision which I had written off as being dead a few years ago... is now alive and well again. Go figure.

It's the latter as the 7800 has no way of putting out anything better than S-video.

Also worth mentioning that the CX78 pads have really thin cords that break if you look at them wrong. Mine was NOS and the cable failed after only a few years, so I salvaged a nice quality one out of a Famiclone controller and used it as a replacement.

Uhh I'm a pretty big Jr. fan but the build quality downright sucks compared to the earlier consoles. The plastic is super brittle, the guide posts on the cartridge port are easy to break, and the flex circuit for the Select and Reset buttons is known to disintegrate. If a switch fails on a Heavy Sixer it's usually just a matter of cleaning it, but fixing the flex circuit on the Jr. is an ordeal. -
Seriously doubt the FM Towns hardware is within the Phoenix's capabilities, you'd have to cram a 386 along with the custom graphics hardware and a YM2612 and a Ricoh PCM chip in addition to the support hardware in that FPGA.

I'm definitely planning on getting the rerelease, I had the NES version when I was little and I stupidly gave it away to my brother years ago. No way I'm getting the original release and even the Famicom version is up there in price these days. -

FWIW the 5200 version of Dig Dug is actually also on the 8-bit, I think Atari realized how lackluster the original port was and then put out the 5200 version months later. It's pretty confusing since they share the same part number and both were released with the original brown label. -

Something I've been rather curious about lately is what company or programmer worked on Xenophobe for the 2600. Most places say that it was Atari, but I doubt that's the case since Atari Corp. tended to outsource game programming to various companies. My guess is Imagineering (same company that ported Commando, Ikari Warriors and Double Dragon) but that's just a gut feeling.

Some 7800s have the same issue, IIRC it's the TIA revision that Atari used for a time.
