  1. Yes you can, except only the D-Pad and Button B (Button 1 on an SMS controller) will work. However, Button B/1 acts as the fire button.
  2. Darn it! Someone got it! And I was watching that one, too!
  3. I was gonna go, but my family's budget is a bit small, so I won't make it. If only there was a game convention in San Jose...
  4. But you also get lots of typos! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4&category=3528
  5. I collect the old NES games from '85-'87. I have most of them except for: Wrecking Crew Stack-Up Soccer Volleyball Balloon Fight
  6. Since I have a top-loader NES, I don't have the cart connector problems like you guys do. Sometimes I have to blow the games about 1 or 2 times, but they usually boot up from the start.
  7. Don't worry. My 600XL has the same problem as your XEGS. Just get another XEGS.
  8. No, cleaning your games won't hurt your system at all. If the game still won't come up, your NES probably has a dead cartridge connector.
  9. I only got mid-way in the article when I stopped reading that. Man, is Seanbaby sick!
  10. OK. *loud crushing noise from behind the counter* Sorry, it looks like someone smashed your sandwich when he was playing soccer with it...
  11. I got that game a couple of years ago at GameStop. It's probably the rarest NES game I have, next to Seasme Street: Countdown.

  13. I like the SMS controllers. I used my only one for my C64 at one point, then I switched to Atari joysticks after that. They're a bit small, but I like 'em nonetheless.
  14. What does it look like? A screenshot wouldn't hurt either.
  15. Yeah, I know. It sounds like it has 2 square wave channels!
  16. If you guys like the Genny controllers, you should try the SMS sticks.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3&category=3644 that this one got this seller confused!
  18. They're really not necessary... the system works perfectly fine without them (Much like the rest of the weird pieces that the 32X comes with). Although they're a little tricky to get in and out, I've never had any major trouble with them. --Zero Didn't you see what I said after that? I said I don't use them because one of them fell inside my Genny once.
  19. Ugh! I hate those shields! I don't use them because when I was putting them in once, one of the shields fell in the cart slot, and I had to open up the Genny to take it out. That, and the shields are very hard to put in.
  20. I've always wondered why 2600 PCBs are much smaller than the cases they're put in. Maybe for prototypes, since they have a few more chips?
  21. Looks like a light gun made for a Famicom clone.
  22. I made a post on a thread similar to this one, so I'll just quote myself...
  23. I keep hearing about how the 32X can permanently wreck 32X and Genesis games. Is this true? I don't really think that's possible...
  24. *sigh* Another case of an over-active bidder...
