  1. Does anyone have an O2 with a ''voice''? I have a nice 4 switch 2600 for trade or, an old Atari Jr. for just the ''voice'' alone. I never used an OD voice, and I wonder what thats like, if its any good, fun etc... Plz reply soon!
  2. Space Attack, Demons to Diamonds... Fantastic Voyage, and Adven-of-Tron, I really like all these too. Some of my fav. unpopular/oddball games, (in no specific order) E.T. - Love the random challenge, no problems with the Holes/Wells. Lock N' Chase - Mattel's 2600 one player titles have a soft spot with me. Porky's - I love blowing up the Bar, and running from the big Ballbricker. Zaxxon - This was and is fun to me (better then expected). Ghostbusters - I respect the work that went into it, kinda fun game. Swordquest Earthworld - Never finished it, but like it anyway. Dark Cavern - This game used to be one of my top favs. Still pretty good now. Spikes Peak - Chaos can be great.
  3. Wow , I think I might just try this.
  4. 1,080. I did finish the game. Don't know if it's on time or not.
  5. 3rd score = 889 getting there.... 4th score agrh! crashed on last round. = 1,028
  6. First try, first score = 596 an ended game. I would have tried the River Raid HSC, but I couldn't find the game, it's missing. I didn't want to use the emulator.
  7. Cool, I think I'll test them, and clean 'em. Should be easy, with 'Still Sealed' games that is.
  8. ALL Atari 5200 Joysticks are broken. PM MrRetroGamer Send him your broken ones and a fair price and he will fix them so they work forever and ever. The guy rox the hiz-ouse. I have worked with him a bunch of times. He is very quick and very fair. OKAY, thanks for the advice, I'll look into the options. lol, I just checked the internet, look at this = http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=17031&type=mov It's like how I am now, but I'm not so angry.
  9. I'll check that site and post what I think, Thanks for the info. I have roughly about 30 games or a little more then that. Seems like all the classics are there! (most untested as of now) 3 are boxed with instructions, including Freedom Fighters / Golf. (Maybe I can post a photo of the games here soon) And yes, the graphics do look great with that game, nice arcade-like-moving graphics. I notice the screen does not scroll, I find that unique, for I am now used to 2600 Defender lol.
  10. Well, I decided to buy an Atari 5200 from eBay I got a system, works good.. etc. Only problem is the Joysticks, are broken. Are they easy to fix, or do I need new ones?
  11. Hi, I bought an Odyssey 2 with games. It works well. I haven't played it (off emulator) since I was 4-7 years old?! I remember playing this with a friend and also typing my age (4) Ahh, I have memories Like, the game Freedom Fighters! Quest for the Rings... Showdown, Skiing, Monkey Shines etc. I remember when I started my Atari 2600 collection and wondering why Defender didn't seem to ring a bell in graphics or sound. It's because it was Freedom Fighters for Odyssey 2! Ohhh, now I get it. heh Now for my questions, I wonder how to keep the games, 2 I tested and they work great, the first game I tried gets stuck on SELECT GAME. These games are from era 1980. What is a good way to clean the Unit and the games, outside on surface and the inside. I use the q-tips and rubbing for Atari, but this Odyssey might be different. Any Odyssey collectors/users here?
  12. Hey, this is a general question about games 'still sealed', if they should be cleaned with the q-tip method? Are they good to go, or is it best to clean away the years? Same question it a used Atari, should the circut board inside be cleaned? ok, thanks.
  13. The game Rad Racket is missing. Was this game an official release or no?
  14. No, I wouldn't buy it I got too many ATARI's as is. I sell setups like that all the time for $25 bucks, ya know a realistic price for such a setup. here's a past realism, I came across ... http://cgi.ebay.ca/ATARI-7800-2600-GAME-SY...1QQcmdZViewItem It's $25 to $29, yeah. not to mention the extra fee of $20 to ship. = $45-49 total. I don't see any rare amounts of games either, nor any actual 7800 ones in this lot. You have no clue how much shipping rates are in Canada you dumbass and if you want to be a fuck about this for much longer I can list the exact same auction as you are with a 25 dollar bin and exact shipping costs with a shipping calculator. I put $20 as the ship as that insures I won't end up screwing myself on the ship with the CanadaPost rates just going up this month. You don't even know this but if I have to send it to places like lower Florida, Cali or lower texas with rate code 3 shipping rates that cost more than most other places in the states to ship to, Untill just recent shipping would have only been $15. Don't kick my can buddy cause this can kicks back every single time. Ok?, if someone writes back about my auction post, either, good, bad or ugly. I am entitled to reply or defend it. Now, I wasn't the first to question others motives. I also didn't write $20 is too much to charge on shipping cost, (don't twist my words) BUT, what I was trying to mention is 'OBVIOUSLY' if you factor in the shipping total, you will have the buyer paying more then $25-29 for the whole lot. More like $45-49. You may be fair in your auction thats' good, but it's not cheap enough (in my opinion) to place ANY judgements of my sale. On a different note (for myself) I take a loss on the shipping because I rather make profits from the total of the product.
  15. ( Krull ) ... really awesome. ( Winter Games ) Epyx!, I also was impressed with ( Robot Tank ) ( Midnight Magic ) I'm sure I forget something, but.. I cannot decide for sure what was the absolute 'most' impressive, maybe 'Solaris.'
  16. http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-2600-Vintage-Woo...1QQcmdZViewItem System has been checked, and has been taken good care of. All needed hook-up's are with this =)
  17. I buy 2600-compatible used 3rd-party AC adapters at flea markets and thrift stores for $1 each or less. They aren't very common but you can find them if you keep looking. A couple models of Code-A-Phone answering machines (1980s vintage?) used the right style. If I want to spend more and get a long cord like the originals, Fry's has one for (I think) $7.99 or so. I can't find anything at thift shops. Mostly books and non-toys here. I bought 2 new AC adaptors's online stores for.. $21. total cost. hmm, Franz I'll send you a PM. I never knew they are cheap in reality. Used.. but cheap.

  19. Cool thanks for the info. It appears to be a 2 port.
  20. Just getting a 5200, I don't know what power cords are needed, does anyone know what a 5200 takes? A pic would be great. Let me know, peeps.
