I didn't initially have Disc play open, but it is now open as a players choice, which has been done before here at HSC's. I responded twice relating to records, on one of the the previous pages days ago,... will include disc speed for records and bonus stuff next season We are going to set a record for Press 1 game for Season 12 because (nothing recorded yet) but, you have to play in Press 1 setting to earn that. BUT !, MODERATOR NOTE: Since we're playing both 1 and disc both at same time, both will be open for setting new records 💯 This should be good for everyone playing and submitting high scores. Yes I changed my mind now, because I'm including disc and press 1 in same high score point table.

Its not a record until the game time ends this next Sunday at midnight est, but it very well could be leading right now, the last 2 seasons Tron was played I wasnt moderating, so I cannot be 100 percent sure. Likely its in lead. Its easier to play, as you kinda answered your own question, more reaction time to escape the discs (even if slower yourself) and prepare for the recognizer. Same with Night Stalker youre slower and your bullets, but more time to think and move.

Its the same game with Night Stalker and some others which we played here on slower speeds, it just means more time to plan or move out of the way... why else would they have made these modes for ? I figured, since Stalker has a record for every setting but slowest, I didn't think 1 slower for TRON was a huge change to play, but now the disc speed is also accepted as well, as experts in the game don't notice any real difference. I feel like I'm repeating the same story here.

To us that are expert at the game its not hardly a difference, but, game 1 keeps 'em slower for a while and the recognizer is easier... but faster is accepted in for experts.

I play tested the Disc/Normal and also the 2nd fastest speed (Slow) I found them to both be challenging with Slow a bit easier for beginners, and its easier to kill Recognizers, also this game has a better slow setting then Night Stalkers crawl. Quick note: There's going to be a 2nd game starting to alternate for rest of the season, as to speed up our game selection a bit with still consisting of 2 weeks a game.

Alrighty then... Enjoy making these kinds of lists... My less enthusies list, Atlantis (Um no) Dracula (repetitive, kinda dull, hurts hands to play longtime) D&D Cloudy Mountain (kinda interesting, but i dont get it?) Pinball (Sh*tball, although I only played on emulation, much prefer Midnight Magic on 2600) Shark! Shark! (limited swim space, fun for some time, but then... kinda drab, too easy, then becomes too difficult) SNAFU (nice but not great on solo play) Space Battle (no score, predictible, game finishes) Swords and Serpents (ugly graphics, i dont get the point of this game) Love thy game 'o, Auto Racing (challenging and fun, although I think some really like it as well?) Blockade Runner (Very fun underrated outerspace shooter) Carnival (nice difficulty settings, like it a lot ...just mute that heinous sound!) Donkey Kong (when you time the jump late on stage one, its an enjoyable conversion) Mission X (slow at first, but when attacks kick in, its pretty fun) Mouse Trap (fun, and forgiving gameplay... is this disliked?) Tron Maze a Tron (unlike anything else) Tron Solar Sailer (unique voice game, interesting code and beam traveling) Vectron (unpredictible, underrated and exciting) That's about it. The rest are pretty well liked or agreed in the non-like.

For this moderator... I use auto, when my thumb hurts lol, and then take it off when it thumb is rested... 🤩 The auto fire is a tiny bit SLOWER, so I don't use it during mothership battles. Gotta hook the boss before she hooks me first. Just sayin...

I'm not sure, but what I try to do is avoid pressing the disc pad in anyway when the transform of ship to planet or planet to mothership is occuring?
