  1. Doh! Wish I would have known about the Burgertime prize. If I had at the beginning, I would have worked 1,000 times harder at least! I might still try for it, but I probably won't be good enough...
  2. Sadly, I forgot that I am one of the WORST BurgerTime players of all time, so I will probably get last. I might try again, but I don't know. 17,900
  3. On the Intellivision FAQ, there is a description on both of them. Here it is from the FAQ Version 7.0: ...if there were 2 or more different versions of the Intellivision II?? Galen Komatsu wondered this, and here are his thoughts on the matter: "Just noticed differences between the two Intellivision II units I have. We'll call one Ernie and the other Bert. - On the front nameplate, Ernie has a more bolder looking black surface, Bert is a bit dulled looking - Bert has the ® symbol after 'Intellivision' and 'Mattel Electronics'. - Ernie has a red stripe around the perimeter of the unit, Bert, none. - Ernie's casing has square corners; Bert's corners are more rounded. - The button squares on Ernie have a matte finish while Bert's squares have a more "glossy" finish though the areas surrounding the buttons are matte. - Looking at the underside labels, the bright orange "IMPORTANT!" has "2609-0090-G1" in the upper corner, Bert has "2609-0090" ... both labels mention eligibility for FREE CARTRIDGE if the unit requires servicing. I hope that helps.
  4. Very nice story, and very nice deed indeed! If I had a spare Intellivision (Which I guess I do) and spare games, I would probably have done the same thing.
  5. Time to get to work. I still don't have my Intellivision, so it's more emulator...
  6. Yeah, I really wish I had my Intellivision unpacked right now...
  7. I won't win, but I still got a good score. Like 1980gamer said, 16 positions are better than 8, and I can't use my Intellivision yet as it is still packed.
  8. Nice! My goal is to eventually get all the games, but that will be tricky. What games do you still need to get? I'm guessing 3 of them will probably be Congo Bongo, Spiker, and Mud Buggies. Good job!
  9. It seems like for Shark! Shark!, after you get to 90,000 points, the shark starts drinking cases of 5 Hour Energy. Then when you get to 100,000 points, he switches to Extra Strength 5 Hour Energy. Then it's very hard to stay alive for much longer. I hope I win so that I will get some points and get in to the leaderboard and at least do somewhat good on the highscore club. I have 6 days left to keep my highscore. I hope I can do it.
  10. I just want to say, that that is a very nice collection of Keyboard Component stuff and cartriges. I hope that you make a lot of money off of it if you're selling. Too bad I'm broke... But yeah, that's a very nice collection, and I hope that the tapes work.
  11. You know, Intellivision wasn't made by "The same company that made BARBIES!!!!!!", that was Mattel. Mattel Electronics made Intellivision and Intellivision ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I don't think so... But that would be pretty cool. I hope it does get found some day. I will have to look up more info.
  13. I wouldn't say that that's an amazing deal, but it's a good deal. Intellivoice modules aren't rare, but aren't totally common. The games didn't have the boxes... I think it was still a good deal. As long as he's happy. I'm glad that the youth appresciates these games too. I am only 14
  14. Well..... I guess I'm not too bad myself I guess... I said I wasn't going to do it, but I got bored and decided to try, and it turns out that I may have won. I hope I inserted the image correctly... I won by 100 points unless someone can beat this... 100,650
  15. Oh, maybe I was wrong. It says in the Intellivision Library that APh completed it, but it says it was never announced or scheduled for release by marketing... I'll have to see if I can find a rom...
  16. Please stand up lol. I found his collection a really long time ago, and ever since then, it really got me into seriously wanting to buy Intellivision stuff. I have just never seen so much Intellivision into 1 collection. It's so amazing with the entire collection of Keyboard Component (except the printer) and all the games and prototypes, it's just so amazing how he could have collected all of that! It must have taken years of collecting and lots of money. Great collection Alex.
  17. Awesome video!!! I really like it! MY PARENTS BOUGHT ME INTELLIVISION!!!!! lol I like that. I hate it when people call the controllers phones. People do that all the time when they see my Intellivision for the first time.
  18. It is very important for all intellivision community to know exactly the person from who you bought that cart. can you remember his name and address? About the cart I wish you the best price, I can buy it if you want, but at an honest price;) I saw that prototype a while back! I think it is still on there, or now I checked, and now it is gone. Are you Alex Pace, THEE Alex Pace with the insane Intellivision collection??? The one here?? http://www.gamescoll...llections/A/138 If you are, I just want to say you have an amazing collection and I wish I had a collection like yours! It would be so amazing to have all of that! You know, you're a big Intellivision collector like I want to be, so maybe you should go take a look at the Keyboard Component Printer at the other post. I think it's pretty cool, and I think you would like it too.
  19. It's a bit wierd, but it has a very nice demonstration of the graphics of the Intellivision, and it has very nice movement and music too!
  20. I believe the game was planned and it said in catalogs that it was coming up, but it was never released. I don't think any work was ever started on it.
  21. I'll start trying out for the high score on the next game. I'm only good at this game on my console, and right now it is put away because of the flooding our city is going through. I'm no good at it on an emulator. Otherwise, I could easily get over 100,000. I'll try out for the next game and I will win!
  22. And to NS7D, you have an amazing find, it is so rare, I have never seen another one anywhere, not on ebay, google, in the news, and the facebook page didn't even know if there were any in existance, and that is just so cool. If you're selling for a reasonable price, I might buy with the money I have left, lol or not.
  23. Yes, I am Brandon Dodds from facebook. Just don't send me any friend requests please. I just discovered this website, and I like it. I will try to be a part of as many parts of the Intellivision section as possible. I wish there would be more conversation on the facebook page, and I try to add some usually, but the page just seems slow and dead sadly. I'm glad there are people to talk to here. I'm curious what they're working on too. I would love to see what's in store for the future of Intellivision. I am a huge Intellivision fan, I have played every game,(whether on Nostalgia or on my console) I got a sealed Intellvision for Christmas last year, and I am only in 8th grade lol. I have about 60 games maybe. My goal for the future is to try and get every piece of Intellivision hardware and software, and that includes the Keyboard Component and it's games and printer, every game, every catalog, every prototype possible, and everything else. I love Intellivision.
  24. I am the guy that uploaded those pictures to the Facebook page. I can't believe there is actually one out there. I would kill for one of those! That is just so cool! I wonder if there are any others... You have a very rare find. I wish I had one...
