Thank you!
Bob,
Is there a way we can support your efforts if we're selectively buying carts due to lack of space? :)
Thanks for all you do!

I'm not sure if concerto or one of the other flash carts allows you to lock a ROM to a cart, like you can with the Intellivision glad cart. If not, I've seen ROMs where the purchaser's name is embedded into the ROM file itself so, if it does get leaked, you know who leaked it.I would not object to a ROM release. I am a big fan of my multi SD-carts, because I like to just turn my systems on and go. I am also honored that Al approached me about a cartridge, so I don't want to do anything that could result in eBay bootleg carts being made before it hits the AA store.
Did I see mention of possible AA store digital releases in the future? I might have dreamed that. If that's true I would probably want give the AA Store first dibs on handling that, since that would go back to supporting AtariAge and the work that goes into keeping it going.

Darryl,
Will you be offering a ROM version of the full game for purchase or will it be cartridge only? Thanks!

The Atari 800 cost more than an Apple II? Damn.

The less said about this version of the game , the better.

So is Ni Felter a game about shrubbery?

Two of the post-Mattel Intellivision releases were Nice Ideas that were released by Dextell, Ltd. It's been well-documented that Nice Ideas was originally a Mattel Electronics branch office. Who was Dextell? Were they just a distribution arm of Nice Ideas or were they something else?

You may also want to post your question in the Apple IIGS Enthusiasts group on Facebook. It might receive more views there.

From what I can tell, it looks like games that don't set the the background colour explicitly to another colour are taking the white background from the Concerto Cart and using it in the game. This also happened when I tried Knight Guy on Board, the title screen had a white background as well (Timestamp: 1:11:01). It's now been fixed in his latest update for the game.

I also noticed this with my Concerto. It made the game look like an O2 one.
Hopefully this gets addressed soon.

As has been mentioned here and on the BSR page, the Intellivision III concept was born A) as a stop-gap to compete with both the Atari 5200 and Colecovision and B) as a means to buy time for the Intellivision IV development.
That said, does anyone actually know when Mattel was targeting the Intellivision IV for release (before everything went south, that is)?
I do have to say that 1985 was an amazing year on Earth 233, as it saw a grand battle between the Inty IV, Atari 7800, NES, SMS and CV2 for home dominance.

No CBS games were released for Intellivision. I tend to believe the screenshots shown in the brochures were artists renderings vs. any actual photos of any actual games that may have been in development.

Does this one work any better?
BonQ (Final AtariAge) No Pokey Init Hack.a78 48.13 kB · 10 downloads
The game still has a bug where it tries to write to $FFFF, but even if it does that it would just mess up the IRQ vector, and there's no source of IRQ.
Works perfectly. Thank you, sir!

I did find that the BonQ ROM in Trebor's Pack did not work for me on the Concerto ROM .95. It's garbled and freezes almost as soon as I start the game.

Here's the correct one: Commando (NTSC) (Atari) (1989).a78
From the (as mentioned) Trebors 7800 ROM PROPack.
The Pokey games from the Trebor pack are working as expected. Thanks!

I am using the one from the games list on AA.Working here for me on both Ballblazer and Commando. Are you using .a78 images from Trebor's 7800 ROM Pack?

I just got the Concerto and I am able to play the Pokey music in games like Popeye, Donkey Kong PK and Pac Man Collection. However, I get no music when I play Commando. I am running firmware .95.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
Thanks!

It's not hard to take the keyboard apart and see what's going on underneath. The keys themselves are relatively easy to remove and reseat.

The Compu-Vision is a Pong clone. The Jr-Pac cart looks like it's for a 5200 (it remained unreleased after the 1984 change of Atari ownership).

Why did you buy an Apple II?

I got my IIGS and a //e from a Facebook marketplace post for free. I had worked on Apples in school when I was growing up and picked these up because of the price and because of the nostalgia itch. I wound up selling the //e mostly because I didn't have room or need for both machines.
The best thing I did for my 2gs was to install a CFFA3000 card and bump the memory up to 4 MB. Still looking for an elusive transwarp at a good price.
