CollectorVision Phoenix Game Console
bikeguychicago replied to retroillucid's topic in CollectorVision
And the board is exposed with a cart plugged in too (unlike some 'other' systems)! -
The only thing I can think of with the ROM is that it may be corrupted.

I've been looking for the original limited release of Adventure II for a while now. Fortunately, I was able to snag one over the weekend for what I thought was a reasonable price. -

How 2600 reaches 90s when better consoles fail
bikeguychicago replied to Serguei2's topic in Atari 2600
Intellivision made it as a company up to 1989. It had games slated for release in (and copyrighted for) 1990. Unfortunately, the company went bankrupt before these games were released. -
Where'd you get a box for Blaster?

It's a reproduction overlay that is intended for an Asteroids Deluxe cocktail cabinet. The one I bought was cut incorrectly so I was able to get it very cheap. Now I need to order Bob D's Asteroids Deluxe so that I have the game that matches the overlay.

I spent about an hour, wired it up, tested each button individually, and glued the cord into place with a hot glue gun. It works wonderfully. And, yes, you can point press on the 7800 Asteroids [emoji3] Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

Nice! How is Meteorites and how well does it work with the stock controller? -

I picked these two up last week. Freeway is an upgrade for my loose copy and Steeplechase was an impulse buy. Both we're $25, which isn't the greatest but the condition of both is amazing considering their age. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk -
Was this made for the Wico or did you route the existing hole larger to fit Wico? Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

I made some progress on the controller over the past couple of days. I painted it a flat black, added the control panel overlay and mounted the buttons. Overall, I'm happy with the results. It's not perfect, but it's for my use so it doesn't need to be.

You could always go with the 'Super Pro' moniker that seems to get added to every Intellivision-related sports game now

I was thinking of getting one of the Starplex controllers. However, for the price, it was cheaper for me to build the one I am making. I have a few spare controllers, wood and paint from my last project that I am starting with. The only thing I really needed to buy this time were the buttons. The control panel overlay I found was a nice bonus. I like that it also matches the styling of the 7800 somewhat.
