Well, I got my package today and found two nice surprises in the River Raid box: The manual (with product catalog) and overlays! So I now have the complete in box River Raid that I've been trying to acquire for the longest time. Now I'm wishing I wasn't at work so I could go try it.

I was actually bidding on and was winning said auction until the end. I forgot about it and got sniped at the last minute.

Ridiculous Ebay Auction
bikeguychicago replied to yell0w_lantern's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
So I got the following response from the $1500 Space Armada guy. His response was as follows: "That's good but don't ever message me to inform me how much of hater u are lol. And I believe that the voice synthesis module is very rare" To which, I countered: "That's odd. If it's so rare, then why are there currently 67 active auctions with Intellivoice in the description? And why would one only have a high bid of $3.53? Clearly, they don't know what they have there" -

I wrote him to tell him that neither were 'rare' and what they were actually worth. Still haven't received a response... -

And yet another one... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 251217834846 $110 for a box (a banged up one at that) and a piece of paper. -
Pricing for M Network games

What's a gammer? -
In addition to collecting Intellivision games, I'm also considering collecting the M Network games (since I have a System Changer). Does anyone know what the games are worth new-in-box? I saw this bundle on eBay that would be a good start on this collection: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 390530025782 I was wondering if this is a good deal or not. Thanks!

Can you share whom it may be?

Ridiculous Ebay Auction

That's nothing! Check out this one: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 321059103960 $1500 for a sealed Space Armada, Bomb Squad and loose Intellivoice? Are they on crack? -
A copy of Stonix has been listed on eBay (eBay Auction -- Item Number: 251217211833) that I am really trying to win. I'm asking those who already have the game to please refrain from bidding on it. I'm buying the game to play it, not to stockpile or flip if for 5x what I paid for it. Thanks!

Does any one have an extra River Raid manual that they are willing to sell? If not, can you offer any suggestions as to where I might be able to obtain one? I was finally able to get a cart with box off of eBay but it doesn't have the overlays or manual. I can order the replacement overlays from eBay but I couldn't find a manual there. Thanks!

Paraphrasing Bender, I would opt for a subtitle of "Fun on a Bun!"

Intellivision Ebay Roundup
bikeguychicago replied to IntellivisionDude's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
A number of items coming from her auctions wound up being way more than what I wanted to spend. I would've liked to have gotten some carts in that great of shape, but I do have bills to pay. I'm amazed that some people have that kind of disposable income available to them. -
System Changer and HDTVs
bikeguychicago replied to bikeguychicago's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I'm still curious as to whether anyone has used the System Changer with a composite mod and what your experience is in doing so. Are there any issues? Is the picture enhanced any? Thanks! -
System Changer and HDTVs
bikeguychicago replied to bikeguychicago's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Problem solved! I tried using the other channel setting (3 instead of 4) on the back of the Intellivision and the scrambling cleared right up! Now I can finally have the best of both worlds and no longer have to envy my 1980's neighbor across the street who had games that I couldn't get. -
System Changer and HDTVs
bikeguychicago replied to bikeguychicago's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I opened the System Changer up and adjusted the potentiometer and was able to get the color to be more accurate. However, I am still experiencing the flashing issue. If the spites remain on a single screen, the picture does eventually become stable. However, if the background is constantly changing between screens (as is the case with Pitfall II) it begins flashing again. Has anyone here had any experience in using the System Changer in combination with an Intellivision II that had been modified for composite output? I'm wondering if that would produce any better results. If so, can anyone here perform the modification or offer any other suggestions? I would try the set up with an SD TV but I live in a condo and don't have room for one. Thanks! -

ELEKTRONITE'S Minehunter still available.

I like it. I suck at it as much as I did with the Windows one, but I like it. Now there's a quote! -

What is your goal for 2013 (intv speaking)
bikeguychicago replied to maximebeauvais's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I've been looking for a CIB gatefold Chess for awhile but have only found loose or ones with ratty boxes. I found new one from a seller from France offering for $65 but that seems a bit high. In regards to the Gaming series, I have most of them as loose carts but I'm looking to repurchase them complete. So far I have bids in on Royal Dealer and Roulette and have a watch on Poker & Blackjack. In this case, I would still need Horse Racing. -
