Thanks so much for scanning it! I can't wait to look at it.

Releasing a game is never poorly timed unless you consider it took me 5 years to do this
It is nice to share with everyone.Oh, I didn't mean poor timing on your part. Poor timing on our part! We've been planning the Shark Shark episode for a while and finally got to it.
But it's really good on the other hand. Now we can include a segment about it at least, rather than it not getting a mention.
-
Wow! Thanks David! As poor timing would have it, we literally JUST recorded our Shark Shark review and mentioned the Shark Shark 2 romhack! Looks like I'll have to do some play testing on this version and record an updated segment!

I sent Freewheel a PM to put me down for a cart when they're made, but was also able to get hold of the rom for a little testing. It's great! AND I've been able to repair an Intellivision unit with its help!
I'm fixing an Intellivision master component for a friend. It has had graphical issues *sometimes*. By using the video testing mode on the cart and cycling the border colors, I was able to reliably reproduce the issue. Turned out to be a power problem, and replacing the power circuit board with one from a more reliable Inty fixed it up! This is a great test cart!

http://intellivisionaries.com/special-edition-9-prge-2018-wrapup/
In this special episode, Rick, Cmart and Paul talk about their adventures at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2018. It's chock-full of exciting Intellivision content, both old and new! The Blue Sky Rangers panel (Intellivision - A Legacy of Firsts!), which was moderated by Paul is also included. And there are tales of border crossings, Intellivision Day 2018, and something Rick knows nothing about but will soon. Oh, and our good buddy George is here too, still a bit bitter about not being invited to the expo. Maybe next year, George?-

I think I’m missing some context here. What devices are you referring to that add up to $32 vs $57?
-
FWIW, I've talked a bit about the ghosting I've seen in Intellivision II models on the podcast. All of my Inty 2's show ghosting to the left to some degree. The test I use is biplanes in Triple Action, as the control tower really shows the ghosting well, if present.
The ghosting has shown up on Inty 2's via RF or A/V modded video ports. So I just assume it is something to do with the way video is processed in the 2's. I haven't seen it on my 2609's. Also, I have a 2 that is RGB modded and that does NOT show any ghosting.
Just some more data points for you...

Wow, I'm not so good at following forums and such...
Thanks to everyone who donated and/or tuned in to the feed on Saturday. It was a good deal of fun (and exhaustion) and was a pretty successful day!
If you were wanting to donate to the campaign but didn't get it in on time - no worries! You can donate to my campaign ANYTIME during the calendar year in which I sign up. So you can still chip in a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation between now and 12/31 (... tax claims are made by a woefully uninformed person - your results may vary...).
By the end of the gaming day event, my campaign was a bit over $800 - which is great! I'd love to see that number hit $1000...

Ok folks, DZ has put up a challenge for me on my gaming day. He’s going to donate $50/hour (up to 5 hours) for me to play Christmas Carol continuously. If I can hit the 5 hour mark, he’s pledged to throw in something extra (I’ll let him decide on that).
I’ll probably plan the Carol marathon pretty early in the 25 hour day - maybe start it around 9:00am EDT or so. So tune in and cheer me on this Saturday! And while you’re at it, why not throw in a few bucks towards the charity fund raiser effort?
Big thanks to DZ-Jay for stepping up and putting this challenge to me to raise more money!

P.S. The link on your web page to the fundraiser is b0rken.
Actually, the second link in the page. The first one works.
Fixed. Thanks - they changed my ID (I think?) after it being the same for a number of years. I had changed the top link, but didn't look further down.

Hey there Commodore folks. I came across a beat-up C-128 at PRGE and brought it home to attempt a restoration on it. There are six keys that I need to replace either because they were missing or the little post in the inside center of the key broke off. Does anyone have a junker C-128 that they keep around for spare parts that could possibly help me out?
I need these:
Control
V
Q
6 (from main keyboard, NOT the numeric keypad)
Shift (are left and right shift keys identical on this keyboard? I'm not quite sure which is which)
CRSR up/down
I'm also in need of one more of the posts that are beneath the keys, and one or two keyboard springs.
FWIW, I did find all of these keys on ebay for $13 each. Ouch! There's a whole C-128 marked as "untested" that has a buy-it-now that is cheaper than buying six keys from that guy.

I'm so proud of you Rick. Look at you actually promoting your fundraising event.
I’m trying!
-
Ugh - the misspellings... That’s what I get for posting from my iphone between sessions at PRGE!

Ok everybody. Weve had our fun in Portland, now its time to get ready for Extra Life Day!
Ill be doing the Extra Life Day marathon again this year on November 3rd. I plan to start at 8:00am EDT and going 25 (!) hours through to 8:00am EST on November 4th. Notice the change of time zone info. Yep, this runs over the time change weekend (again!). So it ends up being 25 hours.
The proceeds for the fund raiser go to Childrens Hospitals. My campaign is for Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Ill be live-streaming the event. The settings I used last year seemed to work well, so I have a bit of confidence that it should work again this year. I have a few more consoles than last year, and I have a newly refurbed basement to show off! Ill definitely be playing lots of Intellivision games, with a bit of an emphasis on homebrews. But I have a good number of pre-1985 consoles to work through. You can see a list on the front page of my website: http://www.rickandviv.net. That page will also link to the live stream on the Extra Life Day. I plan to have a monitor open showing any comments that folks make, so it can be semi-interactive.
The front page on my website also has the link to use to donate to my campaign. Id really appreciate it if you would donate if youre able!
Feel free to post ideas for games that I should play in this thread. Obviously, Ill listen more closely to people who actually donate... *ahem*
Thanks everyone!

I really enjoyed this episode.
Joe Zbiciak is just a pure genius.
One thing you guys did not mention is that Joe Z. also released a autumn / fall style "hack" of SPACE PATROL. He called it PUMPKIN SPICE PATROL ( because it seems everything should have this flavor )
You can download the game for free. Check out this thread
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/230626-pumpkin-spice-patrol/
and for more on Joe Z., check out this interview:

ENJOY!
Tim
Good call, Tim. I blame the Reynold's Research Dept for the omission.
I could've sworn we mentioned that! In fact, as I was listening to the show I was asking myself "When did I bring up the Pumpkin Spice Patrol rom?" But clearly I didn't!

Man! I keep missing these. I'm definitely on the hunt for one.
