  1. Around 2:30 in, listen while I'm trying to discuss rummy rules and quite frankly losing my train of thought while Paul is playing other games in the background! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. In this episode we review the Mattel Electronics game Royal Dealer. Cmart (Christian Martin) joins us again, as does George, spreading some holiday cheer in this December / Christmas / Holiday episode. We interview former Mattel Electronics ‘retail merchandiser’ Ken Stefancic, and have our usual helpings of Feedback and News. There’s plenty here, even for those folks who don’t care about card games (like Paul)… http://intellivisionaries.com/episode-30-royal-dealer/
  3. Alarm on my phone went off: "order imagic overlays" - PM sent. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I don't know if the author/seller of this game reads this forum/thread, but I just found out about it and it sounds like a game I would very much enjoy. I'd definitely be up for paying for a rom release.
  5. So I wanted to come back and add a little input on this. I played a good deal of intellivision over the Thanksgiving break on my ultimate flashback using the flashback controllers that I use all the time with my main systems. I had several instances of controller glitchiness while playing Baseball with my cousins. So it is not out of the question to think that the struggles I noted with the jump button might be controller related. I am sorry if I caused some concern over what is probably nothing. I did try a couple of different controllers before making the video, and I even tried a little in emulation in an effort to discover if it was a game issue or a controller issue. I was on the fence about saying anything about it in the review. But I finally came down on the side of mentioning it as it had been my experience with the game, and I didn't want to feel like I couldn't say anything about it. I really love the game, and I was worried that I might be a little biased to look the other way about a minor problem. So I did what I did. Hopefully I'll get a chance to reload the video with a little text over the screen in that part indicating the issue I was seeing was almost certainly a controller issue so people won't be wondering about that when they see the review in the future. On a related topic, anyone know of a good source for getting new flashbacks? I think I want to get a few extra controllers...
  6. Lookin good, Phil! If you want to do another interview on the podcast to get the word out, let me know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah, I didn't intend to start any kind of campaign for a change. It may not be noticeable by others, or it might be in my head! But I felt like I had to mention my experience with it. My understanding is that the game I received is the final build.
  8. I just posted a video review of the new Sydney Hunter game. RetroIllucid was kind enough to send me a rom image for review purposes. Check it out!
  9. Goodness! I rarely check the forums via a web browser - using tapatalk mostly, which doesn't show me new threads unless I look for them. Anyway, I check in and find this!
  10. Heh, I count it as good. Although I'm known to have a skewed sense of values (according to my relatives anyway). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Count me in for one copy of the LE, any serial number is fine. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Glad to hear about that freewheel! I played DB a couple of times during my extra-life game day. I only drove 15 miles, however, not the full trip. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I was singing along with the Patience song. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. John let me play the demo - really great stuff! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I applied the coolretroprojects.com mod to my 7800. The audio needed to be balanced (I was able to add a resistor to the TIA output to tone it down to be more on the level of the POKEY audio), but the overall mod is good. I'm able to use my Concerto for many games - I haven't done a thorough investigation at all and I'm not at home now so I can't post my model/serial numbers at the moment either. 16. Some posters from the show made it up on my son's wall Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Just found out about this one - looks good! I'm in for 1 copy, O2 version, no case. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. The Reynolds Research Dept is always working on show prep... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I posted this over in the ep29 thread but it's a PRGE pic as well... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. We'll be "sore-rey" Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. We discussed that. But it just seemed like it was getting to be too much for one ep. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
