  1. I see you've pulled the auction - did you sell it elsewhere??

Nope, just the one that sold for $130 today made it not worth the hassle. I got a couple ebay questions immediately afterward saying "hey, one sold today for $130" and I thought answering in the auction publicly with "See that 'make offer' button?" would have come across as rude. :D

Guess those ones in Europe last month were a fluke... Or shill bidding.

Well, maybe there was only two people that were willing to spend, that for it. Now it is back down, to what they used to go for. What was the offer that you got on it???

  2. Ahh Ok, two heavy intelly collectors. They must not have had these sealed. :ponder:

that pikachu guy: heavy collector? dont you mean dork who list high priced buy it nows?

Jesus, this that is him, I new that name sounded familiar. :x

  3. I wanted to bump this thread with my recent aquisition of a boxed sears checkers. I voted a r8 on this....I would say this is definitely one of the hardest boxed games to get!

    Tell us a story. :D

Interesting. That would make 3 CIB this year that I know of...

And none by me. :x Well at least I got a Sears Dare Diver CIB this weekend. :)

  4. There were two Music Machines that were sold on ebay last year. One was in pristine condition, but opened. That one went for over $5600. And there was another that was sealed like your but not in pristine condition that went for over $5200. Of course that was last year, and the market for super rare games seems to be in an upswing. I would suggest just putting this up on Ebay for auction with no reserve, and starting the auction out at .99 cents.

Yeah Homer, We wouldn't want anybody in our Atari Family here, to have a chance at it first. :x

Good point. I will offer up a name then. He probably should contact Atari2600lives. I am pretty sure he does not have this, and would offer a good price.

Hmmmm, I guess CPUWIZ, Ntavio, Rick Wies, And I , who have Great collections and have been known to pay high, should be denied, a chance to. Everyone should on AA should have an= chance.

  6. IMO, only one legitimate NTSC box and one NTSC cart exists, and is owned my Marco. He has described that the box has some sort of special sticker that differentiates it from PAL boxes. IMO, all other boxes are either PAL or cannot be distinguished from a PAL box. Also IMO, other claims of NTSC carts are probably PAL games that have had NTSC eproms burned and put inside the shell. A decent forgery would be argued as real by both buyer and seller.

Homerwannabee, wanna start a Mangia registry, along with where they originated?

    This could be true.

This I disagree 100 percent. I think this is a very bold statement, with no proof to back it up.

Marco show me the sticker. :D HHW

  7. Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with what the seller did either. Sometimes I sell and 2600 w/30+ games and get $30. Other times I've gotten as much as $160+. It all depends on how many new collectors are looking on eBay that week. I remember seeing this one and not understanding why it was being bid up high as it was, but it didn't seem fishy. I was envious. Usually you'll get more $ if you included more pics - at least that's what has worked for me. Strange that there was just one picture in this auction and he still got an amazing price for it.

This auction had 12 pictures. :)

  8. btw.... river raid is worth 100 by itself.

Ugh, already sold it but for some reason I don't really care. And this copy is in great shape too. Guess I'm just happy to finally get rid of all these.

When did River Raid get so high? Years ago I remember checking on it and it wasn't worth much.

I believe Rev is partaking in some forbidden beverages this evening. :P
