  1. I'm going to make videos of SA Baseball, Football and Soccer. They will be like my other gameplay videos. Played on the real hardware without commentary. Baseball and Soccer seem pretty easy to learn with fast gameplay. Soccer has some AWESOME close-up views when two players are near the ball. Football is a lot slower paced and it's taking me longer to learn how to play it. I'll be working on these over the next few days and hope to have them uploaded to youtube on Friday. Look foward to your videos. I agree that soccer is pretty cool in the close up mode.
  2. I have been playing some games with the Super Action Controllers and the controllers I have don't seem to be 100% operational. They both work but to limited degrees and one is worse than the other. Baseball is a two player game only so I doubt I can show much of it since one controller is worse off. I have recorded footage of football but it is pretty boring since I can't always seem to control the player I want. Plus the footage is over 17 minutes and I don't think anyone wants to watch it for that long. I will post an edited version of my gameplay in the future. I have a rom of Soccer but I have no idea how to play it, the demo mode shows a lot more of the game than I can do. Rocky in my opinion is the best of the bunch. To be honest even if these controllers were working 100% I would say that these games are kind of hard. I also have to admit that I am not a teenager like I was when I first played these games, so age probably playes a big factor in my ability to play these games. Maybe some one else with better skills and fully functional controllers can do better.
  3. I think this is pretty awesome. It almost looks easy enough for me to use it and I know nothing about music! Well done sir!
  4. That's right. It's a standard homebrew SG-1000 port, like Lode Runner and Penguin Land, which Steve also did. Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware until you pointed it out to me that he did Lode Runner and Penguin Land as well as Pacar.
  5. So Steve Begin is responsible for this port? By that I mean he did this himself and this was not an unreleased rom done by Coleco, or any company, or anything like that? Thanks for all the info!
  6. I think you contacted me a while back via my youtube channel about making videos of these games. I apoligize that I haven't gotten to it yet, life, work and a short memory don't help. I don't know if I have the overlays for these games, I think I have a few, but I will see what I can do assuming the controllers still work, and they used to so I don't know why they wouldn't know. I will try to work up something for you soon and anyone else that watches my channel. Forgive me for the delay. I promise I will see what I can do.
  7. There is a rom of Pacar for the ColecoVision that I assume is a port of the SG-1000 version of the game since I have seen footage of the game on you tube and they look almost identical. Was this game ever released for the CV by anyone? Or is it another game that almost saw the light of day but never got released like a kind of a prototype? Just curious about this since I have never heard, or read, anything about the CV version. Thanks for any info.
  8. My top 10: 1 Pacman Collection 2 Mario Brothers 3 Jeepers Creepers 4 Road Fighter 5 Space Invaders Collection 6 Cosmo Fighter 3 7 Steamroller 8 Girls Garden 9 Star Fortress 10 Gulkave
  9. Spyhunter has Super and regular overlays but StarTrek only has Super. It is possible that some homebrewer later created regular since I hear a lot of overlays were created for different games years ago but I was not around during that time so do not know if anyone created one or not. I haven't come across a Hand Controller Star Trek Homebrew overlay, but that doesn't mean one wasn't made. The only other possibility is that eColeco (ADAM's House back then) might have made one, but I'm pretty sure that they only reproduced overlays that where already in existence. Thanks for the reply but I bought Star Trek when it first came out, in 84 or so, before I even knew of ADAM's house and I could swear that the game had overlays for the original controllers. I didn't own the Super Action Controllers at the time I purchased this game and I recall playing it with the original controllers. Maybe my memory isn't as good as I would like to admit, but I sure seem to recall this. Thanks again.
  10. Anything to help out the homebrew scene I am for. I say go for it Lindsey. You have some great ideas and maybe your ideas might lead to something better than we all know yet.
  11. A very impresive list. Obviously you have done a lot of research on this. But I have a question concerning Star Trek SOS, and forgive me if it is covered in your list, I haven't looked through it all yet. I could swear that back in the day there were keypad overlays for the original Coleco controllers as well as the Super Action controllers for this game. The reason I remember is because I never owned the SAC's until later, so I could swear that they existed for the regular controllers. Can anyone confirm this?
  12. What original colecovision labels are people interested in that haven't been done? If someone has a list I would be willing to try to give a shot at making them. I know that pboland has made many and he does great work so I don't want to intrude on his fine work.
  13. I think your attention to detail is great! As I said I know nothing about this game except what I have seen from you and it looks great. I hope in the future you plan do to more stuff like this. Pretty awesome stuff.
  14. My vote would be for Mappy. Fun game with great music, and has a horizontal screen if I remember correctly.
  15. Everytime I see a new video of your progress the more impressed I am. I didn't know anything about this game, never saw it before ever, but you have me hooked on it for sure! The second screen looks great! Keep up the great work!
  16. Reroillucid is correct the are not locked but I have heard that PAL games may play slightly different because of the Hz differences (PAL 50Hz NTSC 60Hz) does anyone know for sure about this?
  17. The link to buy games is missing. Hopefully it will be restored.
  18. First off I really admire the CV homebrew community and like others I purchase games from you all when they are available. But lately it seems that finding the games that are available is getting harder to do. All of the homebrew CV websites, that I know of, that have games available don't seem to offer an easy way to buy the games. Most of them make you look around and if you look hard enough some sites have a "contact us" in order to purchase a game. The most recent purchases I have made were through Gooddeal games and lately they seem to have made a change so that it is harder to order games from them. What is the reason for this? On the topic of ROMS. I respect the fact that you don't want them out in the public. Are there any plans to possibly re-release some of the games that were made in the past in cartridge form, ever, by anyone? I would like to purchase some of the games that I missed out on. Just my two cents worth.
  19. As soon as RK announced that he was working on a CV version of this game, I fired up MAME to see what Monster Bash was all about as I had never played it before. From the limited time I had to play, I found it a very fun and challenging game. Another GREAT choice RK! I'm really looking forward to all the latest updates on the game's continuing development and hoping that you will have the available rom space to add a level or two of your own creation. BTW Pixelboy, really like the idea of a Mummy level set in a Pyramid or museum... think that would fit perfectly with the other levels. After following RK's work I agree 100% this looks like an awesome game. His attention to the details is classy, and I look forward to playing this game sometime soon.
  20. At first I wasn't that excited about this game but as you have made it better and better I admit that I think it looks great! It is one game that I look foward to purchasing. Keep up the awesome work!!
  21. My mistake I wasn't referring to your label that font looks about perfect, I was talking about the ones posted ealier. Sorry for the mix up, it was my mistake.
  22. Congo Bongo Label for general use. If anyone wants to use it or modify it you have my permission.
