  1. Am i the only one who doesn't feel the Joust hype? So many reviewers and Atari fans seem to really like the game. Personally i think it's not bad but nothing to write home about either.

      Mainly the 2600 however any the others that i have played haven't really wowed me either. I can see from a graphics standpoint on the 2600 it's not bad. As for gameplay i really don't know how to feel about it.

      It's a fools errand to try and convince someone to like a game. I think it's a really challenging physics based game, like a pinball machine or Artillery Duel, where you can play around and get interesting things to happen because of the gravity physics. Each version has a little bit different 'float' to it as well. Joust is really freaking hard too, that aspect helps a game stand the test of time and remain popular, people like a challenge.
