  1. I always get nervous when an ebay seller doesn't leave feedback for the buyer. It's almost like they're not confident in their product and waiting to see what feedback they receive from the buyer... I hope my friggen item is what i wanted and in working order. Too much money to be stuffed around.

Nothing all that special, just a general purpose tower PC for the lounge room TV. Usually i just build them myself but after adding up the prices and all, it's hardly worth it these days. The PC itself was $750 with postage and $150 for a copy of windows. I just really like having a tower in the lounge as it's really useful for everyday things. I also load it with emulators to keep the missus happy, as she freaks when i pull out my old consoles. I have my laptop for development and whatever else i want, but sometimes it's nice to throw a game on and kick back on the couch after a long day. Also the old dinosaur of a rig i built for the lounge just tipped it's decade of service, so it's due for retirement.

Ive been a seller since 2003, I stopped doing feedback about a decade ago. While this forum has collectors who do research the seller, 80% of the people buying their paper plates and flip flips don't look at it till after they are having an issue. its sad but true, from a seller point its a time waster, and Ebay offers auto feedback to sellers, so 50% of seller feedback on ebay is auto generated..   Feedback is only good if you are buying a very niche item from a very niche seller.

I always thought that getting feedback for being a buyer was unfair. The selling part is much more important than the buying. "Great buyer!" Really? All they did was pay.

Feedback should only be for sellers. It's not like any sellers read a buyer's feedback before shipping an item.
