  1. Ok pulled my finger out a bit and had a alot better runs, one thing i dont like is the placement after loosing a life. Fried two of my men right at the end as it placed me on the side with no where to run, then i got instantly bombed . Anyway this was my best run until the major bombardment happend. Space Cavern: 1BB 50,650
  2. I would have to go with Missile Command as my first choice, its one my all time favorites and so much nostalgia right there. Then Phoenix, i had the 2600 Phoenix port first but few years later played the coin op a fair bit, still really enjoyed the 2600 version though. As for Defender i only ever knew of the 2600 version till around the 90s, the 2600 version was allways a favorite though.
  3. Participation points as not really getting the groove of this game. Space Cavern: 1BB 25,755
  4. Sky Skipper Game: 1BB Score: 7,180 Fun little game like most Parker games are, tricky when it speeds up though.
  5. Update: (Without using tunnels) Was getting risky towards the end and lost all three lives, anyway alot better run. 85,387
  6. I run everything off my low input lag 42' LEDTV however by everything i mean everything emulated though PC via DVDI-VGA input. I stopped dedicated collecting and chose emulation a couple years ago after finding the right TV to run my PC on for gaming. Unfortunitally my job, Mrs and not enough room in the house makes it a little tricky to have a games room, Mrs isnt a gamer like myself. Still got my systems in storage though. Must say i preffer it in a way as it makes the house look a bit nicer and neat when people come around. With Stella and a few other great emulators im like a pig in s#!t with how they run and quality on the large screen. Im picky when it comes to accuarcy and quality so emulator aspect correction and maybe a filter or two are, by far my choice on a modern TV rather then original hardware. Other then that if TV isnt free i play them on the laptop, like i have been for this season of 2600HSC Original hardware and a trusty old CRT is the best experiance but for this day and age and where life is at emulation suites me fine.
  7. My father has never really liked video games besides when he was younger during the Arcade days. My mother was addicted to Tetris in the 90's although both really dont have intrest anymore. My grandmother though, bought a Super Nintendo in the 90's after i brought mine around her house one weekend. She rang up my mother and asked what it was called and the game Vegas Stakes. She bought it for the pokies(Slots) lol, played it every day for an hour or so before bed till the day she passed aged 87. In the belongings left for my mother there it was, the SNES with Vegas Stakes just sitting on the top. Depends on the person i would say, just like my grandmother who never used computers before but she wanted to play the pokies at home lol.

  16. The ability to add more lines of code opens up a whole new ball game so to speak. However as far as i know, the extra rom space is achieved with bank switching, so i am not too sure if it is possible. Basic programming would also need to be ripped/copied from the original rom and then added to a 32k batari basic project. Some may frown upon that idea as its essentially ripping off Warren Robinett's work, the original code would also need to be worked on or even completely re-written to support bank switching. Not sure if anyone would have the desire or passion needed to do this, after all its not a very popular game program.
