Ax, I'm joining you in the 'kid goes to the ER' saga. My 6 year old was attacked by the neighbor's dog yesterday - 5 stitches to the laft hand. Animal control won't take the dog away.

  Dang. That happened to my fathers dog about 7 years ago. Next door neighbors Pitbull ripped up his Jack Russel in his driveway while he was walking it on a leash. They wouldn't take that dog away and it ended up attacking a kid a year later.

  Why aren't pitbulls banned? They're apparently wild, like lions, and you can't have a pet lion, now can you?

  We can't get our property management to put up a fence either. We complained about the lack of safety but they "can't afford it".
