What part? I've never seen snow... closest I've seen was hail that was heavy enough to cover the ground in patches.

Tehachapi. It's actually pretty common to get snow here a few times a year but in the middle of April??? Astounding.

I've been to Tehachapi once, one a road trip with my Dad when I was a kid, we stopped at pretty much everything rail road related on our way to Sacramento. We pulled into Tehachapi to check out the loop and I believe I recall a railroad museum as well.
