Remember when you saw the original LOTR movies and said "Alright! Great movies!" and then you heard about The Hobbit and said "Woo hoo! How could it not be good?" and then you saw all three and said "Aw dang ..."

  The "Hobbit" movies had their moments, if you went in to them knowing what to expect from a Peter Jackson adaptation, but they would have been better as two films instead of three.

  I saw Fellowship in the theater and said, "well, that was an interesting take on Tolkien". I have never watched it again. I was only able to watch 10 minutes of the Two Towers on DVD. Ugh.
