I forgot these also came with that Oakland CL lot:
I also got these at goodwill for $1 each: all have the instruction manual (except Seablade) and all discs are in great shape
I snagged these up at a thrift store in Modesto for about $35, they are from the 1950s and 1960s, all look complete (with decals unused) and only one or two pieces glued together
So I originally stopped at the yard sale for these N64 games. I got all 23 for $55:
I started asking if he had older retro stuff and he began pulling out tubs and boxes. I purchased every tub and box he pulled out. So the N64 games (which are mainly for me and the kids) cost me $55 and everything else ended up being $135. This is what I ended up with for $135:
C64 games - Airborne Ranger and Gold Medal Games is complete. Top Gunner is still sealed. The C64 handheld is missing the battery cover:
Intellivision lot: One game is unknown. One of the gold discs are missing.
TI-99/4A lot: I hope the controllers work ... but they are in good physical condition. The B&W book is a Scott Adams Official Adventure Hint Book. It contains solutions for Hulk, Spider-Man and Buckaroo Banzai.
More pics to come (obviously i would not pay $135 just for that)!

What's with all the GIFs/MEMEs?! My panties are wedged in my crack and I'm TRIGGERED!!
Back to reality: I'm currently cleaning up some goodies I scored today....nothing great, but I did find a Fisher Price Little People plane that I had as a kid!!

Love the LP line, I had some as a kid as well (the awesome 70s LP toys). My kids all played with LP sets (more modern sets of course) but the reaction was always the same: good times (no pun intended)

Nice looking collection.
It looks like you got a Wico stick for 5200 in there too.If the large power brick has a female DIN plug on the end, it's a external supply for Atari ST floppy disk drive. Odd item in a otherwise all game lot.
Yes it is a female end. Thanks for the help identifying that.

okay here are a few pics from my $100 Oakland CL purchase:
Atari 5200 games: 31 total (a few duplicates). The unidentified game is Ballblazer
Atari 2600 games: 84 total (a few duplicates) - and of course the obligatory Parker Brothers mystery cart
Accessories: two out of the three 5200 controllers are bent (the metal piece inside the hand grip). I do not know what the large power supply is CO-70091-011.
Consoles: The battery compartment is stuck on the C-380
UPDATE: all three 2600 consoles tested and work, nothing seems broken - just a bit dusty.

This yard sale had tubs and tubs of gaming stuff, most at decent prices but some things were too pricey (at least for me). He did not seem to know much about pre-1985 items (he said he was born in 1987). The main reason I stopped was because i saw a tub full of loose N64 carts and loose NES games. I did not buy any NES games (they were all very common $2 or $3 games) but I scored a ton of N64 games for about $2 each. He had a lot of rare complete games but I simply ran out of money. I literally could have spent probably $500 and still not purchased all of his garage. He had SMS, SNES, Sega CD, Saturn, GameCube, PS2, etc.
Anyway the N64 games led me to asking about "retro" gaming and I ended up with some tubs and boxes which led to other items ...
Some of it is good, some is pretty chewed up but he was wheelin' and dealin' to get stuff gone.

Went to one thrift yesterday...the place closes at 6PM, but the guy always starts closing up at around 5:30. Turns off the lights, the music, etc =|
Anyway, not a huge score, but better than walking out empty handed. Two CDs: Paul Simon's Graceland (finally), and the Pump Up the Volume Soundtrack.
Graceland is one of those CD's that I can listen to over and over. Good album, such a diverse collection of musical styles.

You're aweful brave to temp fate by posting before you complete a deal. I'm always afraid to jinx it.
fate tempted ... and defeated.
I met the guy and he was right on time. It was in Oakland right by Berkeley so the "nice" part of Oakland LOL
Anyway he was a very nice guy and everything was in as described condition. I will post a pic later.
The best part - he is originally from Bakersfield and so am I. We grew up around the same neighborhood but went to different high schools - but we knew some of the same people and some of the same old hangouts like Peter Piper Pizza.
We hung out for a minute and talked about Bakersfield and Atari, etc. Great experience. The traffic was horrible.
Then I scored a huge yard sale deal on the way home, probably the best lot purchase I have ever made at one yard sale. Needless to say i spent about $200 but I will be able to keep some stuff and sell some stuff to recoup my costs. I will post pics later as well.

I may be scoring a nice Atari lot tomorrow for $100 - about (85) loose 2600 and (30) loose 5200 carts plus three 5200 controllers, a 2600 controller, an Atari pong game, one 4-switch 2600 and two light sixers (all are reported to work and appear to be in good condition). Most of the carts seem to be in good shape with some end labels missing. I think it will have mr do's castle, zone ranger and miner 2049er for the 5200.
Looks like a lot of imagic carts for the 2600.
Anyway, hopefully it will work out, we have agreed to meet at McDonald's in the morning. The CL ad was only 4 days old so it may be legit - and I have not come across it recently.

found a near mint pink GBA AGS-101 today for $10. the screen is beautiful and scratch free. works like a dream.
nothing as beautiful as the one Jin just sold ... but for $10 I will not be picky.
I need to get an everdrive cart for it.
I also found yoshi's island DS and super smash bros 3DS for $2 each, both complete.
nice to find a few good items at good prices still out in the wild.

to continue my $135 yard sale score:
The Uforce is missing the inner packing. The Advantage has the styrofoam and the instruction manual
The Intellivision box is beat and chewed but the unit looks nice. I am missing the Jaguar power supply but from what I've researched it is an easy fix with a 9v or 10v Genesis model 1 power supply.
The OMNI even includes the 8 track cassette game
This is the version with the detachable controllers. The unit looks brand new.
Unfortunately no power supply or DK for the colecovision but it is in very good condition. The games are in bad shape but hopefully it all works.
The Action Max box is almost completely destroyed but the inner styrofoam is there and the unit looks clean.
I will post one more update pic for the box of Atari "old arcade junk" as the guy called it.
