Grig replied to mtshark7's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
maybe some interest here as well -
bump - I will put these on ebay this weekend if I have no takers or trade offers. I need to get rid of a few more things before I can go through the ATARI 2600 & 5200 stuff and put it up for sale/trade. I will take offers or best offer on any of the four items i have listed now. 10/07/2017 - items are now on ebay.

A few new items today 9/30/17 1. NES Advantage controller in box - untested. $15 plus shipping. The box is pretty beat up and the controller is slightly faded. The B button sticks a little. 4 lbs to ship. 2. NES U Force controller in box - untested. No inner packing. $10 plus shipping. The box is pretty beat up. All of the pieces look to be there. 5 lbs to ship. 3. Playstation One - EA Sports FIFA 2000 - NEW/Still Sealed. I am completely unsure of the value for New/Sealed. The only sold listing I can find is about $49 for a PAL version that was new/sealed. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. 4. Playstation One - EA Sports Supercross 2000 - NEW/Still Sealed. Again, I cannot find a value. The Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 seems to sell for $3 to $10 but no sold or for sale listings for EA Sports Supercross 2000 New/Sealed. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

okay I am starting to sort through a few of my pick ups and I decided to start with the Jaguar stuff. Unfortunately the Jaguar does not appear to power on (insert sad face here) so I am unable to test anything. ALL JAGUAR ITEMS SOLD! 1. PAIR OF UNTESTED JAGUAR CONTROLLERS - $10 plus shipping (should be 2 lbs to ship in a box). They are a bit dirty but I am not cleaning them, that will be left to the buyer to do with them as they will. Other than being dirty they appear to be in good shape physically. 2. SUPER BURNOUT - looks to be CIB - $30 shipped (should be able to go first class in a small box). The cart itself looks good. The box is a bit banged up and the manual has some folds at the upper right. The plastic cart bag is included but it has a big hole in the middle. Untested. 3. JAGUAR CONSOLE WITH CYBERMORPH - $30 plus shipping (should be 4 lbs to ship in a box). Does not seem to power on, it may be an easy fix or the board may be fried. The Cybermorph cart is a bit banged up. The console does have some scratches and is dirty. PM me if interested. Thanks for stopping by The Garage!

Interest check - 70s and 80s TV shows/TV movies/commercials - trade?
Grig replied to Grig's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Okay I have a partial list, only about 58 DVD's right now. I still have 5 CD/DVD holders to go through, all filled with DVD's - and I also have a huge stack of current project DVD's (and more VHS/Beta tapes to go through!). Some MTV on my current projects. Some of the tape quality was good and some was - well, less than good. Anyway, send me a message indicating interest and I will reply with the list. We can figure out a trade after the entire list is finished. Thanks to all who have indicated interest! -

Well it's a bit slow going due to work/family/life - but I have a little over 20 DVD's catalogued with title and air dates. Some really good stuff with some fantastic retro commercials - and yes Atari is there! I will keep working on it bit by bit and I will start sending out lists to those who are interested. Thanks to everyone who has shown interest, I am thrilled to share and make good trades! -

Hmmm ... yes I may have one like that. I do have some of the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show - but not much. Good stuff. -

Yes, i have converted probably about 1000 tapes - of course not all VHS tapes had 6 hours worth of content to record and not all Betamax had 4.5 hours of content to record - but it is pretty close. The actual amount may be more but I cannot say right now. I am compiling a detailed list in case I have interested parties. It will be a bit slow but worth it. Lots of good 70s and 80s TV. I am currently indexing Superfriends, Pac-Man, Little Rascals and Richie Rich from the early 1980s - complete with Schoolhouse Rock. -

LOL yes the commercials were about 2 minutes long, very easy to pause out. -
Just wanted to see if there was any interest from anyone here regarding trading gaming stuff for DVD's filled with 70s and 80s TV nostalgia. Some of you here know that I am always looking for Betamax/VHS tapes with TV content from the 70s and 80s on them. I have now amassed probably around 200+ DVD's (most 2 hrs each DVD) filled with TV stuff I recorded from tapes. I have game shows, cartoons, commercials, sports, specials, interviews, news, etc. If you grew up in the 70s and/or 80s you probably watched most of what I have. Some of it is on my youtube channel but most of it cannot be aired due to copyright reasons. Anyway, if you are interested shoot me a PM. I can send you a detailed list. I would provide the blank DVD's. Thanks!

Absolutely I will. I may have to unscrew the thing just to get the battery cover off. Unfortunately I think that means there are exploded batteries inside. Hopefully not. The jittery paddle control may be an easy fix if it is like fixing 2600 paddles. Anyway I will keep you posted when I get into it.

last of the yard sale pics: tons of controllers - paddles, atari joysticks, a keypad set with holder, a few pointmasters and a nice wico boss. a boxed wico trak-ball (the boll seems to roll very smoothly) and a wico 5200 controller w/masterplay interface atari 7800 with controllers and power supply. a few boxed 5200 games and a 2600 converter another light sixer with power supply and a few more common 2600 games well that's it.

to continue my $135 yard sale score: The Uforce is missing the inner packing. The Advantage has the styrofoam and the instruction manual The Intellivision box is beat and chewed but the unit looks nice. I am missing the Jaguar power supply but from what I've researched it is an easy fix with a 9v or 10v Genesis model 1 power supply. The OMNI even includes the 8 track cassette game This is the version with the detachable controllers. The unit looks brand new. Unfortunately no power supply or DK for the colecovision but it is in very good condition. The games are in bad shape but hopefully it all works. The Action Max box is almost completely destroyed but the inner styrofoam is there and the unit looks clean. I will post one more update pic for the box of Atari "old arcade junk" as the guy called it.

I forgot these also came with that Oakland CL lot: I also got these at goodwill for $1 each: all have the instruction manual (except Seablade) and all discs are in great shape I snagged these up at a thrift store in Modesto for about $35, they are from the 1950s and 1960s, all look complete (with decals unused) and only one or two pieces glued together So I originally stopped at the yard sale for these N64 games. I got all 23 for $55: I started asking if he had older retro stuff and he began pulling out tubs and boxes. I purchased every tub and box he pulled out. So the N64 games (which are mainly for me and the kids) cost me $55 and everything else ended up being $135. This is what I ended up with for $135: C64 games - Airborne Ranger and Gold Medal Games is complete. Top Gunner is still sealed. The C64 handheld is missing the battery cover: Intellivision lot: One game is unknown. One of the gold discs are missing. TI-99/4A lot: I hope the controllers work ... but they are in good physical condition. The B&W book is a Scott Adams Official Adventure Hint Book. It contains solutions for Hulk, Spider-Man and Buckaroo Banzai. More pics to come (obviously i would not pay $135 just for that)!

Love the LP line, I had some as a kid as well (the awesome 70s LP toys). My kids all played with LP sets (more modern sets of course) but the reaction was always the same: good times (no pun intended)
