    Received my SDrive MAX a few days ago. I followed the instructions and ... viola! It works beautifully. So far everything is perfect. It took me a minute to make sure I did everything correctly and to learn how to navigate the touch screen menu, but it only took a few minutes to be able to navigate like a pro. I am currently transferring all of my ATR and XEX images to the micro SD card. Thanks Gavin!

    Just got my SDMax from Gavin. It works beautifully. I have the 8 bit archives on my old Dell XP machine. I have not fired that thing up in probably over three years and today ... viola! It started without a hitch and I am currently transferring my ATR images to the mini SD. Thanks Gavin!

    Here is my SS gift pic I will wait to open the wrapped gifts. The Goobers are absolutely PERFECT and the Kinder Joy looks awesome. Of course I love candy canes as well. The 8 bit manuals are a joy as I did not have either of them. THANK YOU SECRET SANTA (like I don't know who you are LOL) I will open my other gifts around Christmas and post pics!

    Thanks for the link, I just purchased a set - they have a 2 DVD set with So Dear To My Heart as well. The quality looks fantastic, much better than my Laserdisc/VHS/DVD copy.

    Not too bad, looks decent. My VHS (copied to DVD of course) copy is a bit snowy due to age. Yeah, SOTS is actually a good movie. We have a few of the plush toys that were sold at Disneyland back in the 1970s.

    I found a VHS copy of the laserdisc in a lot I purchased last year, complete with the Japanese subtitles. Yeah, it won't be out on DVD anytime soon, probably never.

    What was the first 8-bit game you purchased? Mine was Protector II for my Atari 400 because it came in a 16k cartridge.

      Star Raiders for the 400. Once you figure out the ships are mirroring your movements, it becomes easier.

      I got Hunt the Wumpus and Tombstone City for the TI-99/4A and Radar Rat Race for the VIC-20 about the same time. Didn't own an Atari 8-bit until the late-90's.
