    Hey I've read nearly all the threads (both on AtariAge and other forums) regarding Atari DOS 3. I still even have my DOS 3 (the "bug-free" version) Master Disk that came with my original 1050. As with many here, it was the first DOS I used before I stumbled upon DOS 2.5 and later MyDOS followed by SpartaDOS (my fav). Other than being a seemingly worthless POS, it is neat to just tinker around with. Has any programmer's information ever been located for DOS 3? For example, I...

      There used to be a few AR websites but I haven't seen any in many years. I've never seen a T of A website. The AR websites used to have music, maps, etc. They were great.

    warning: do not by the plug n play game that looks like an atari joystick (from Jakks Pacific) this Chiristmas. Poor, poor quality. Already had to return 4 of them due to the a/v cables not soldered correctly (or some other defect).

      I've got a real Atari VCS 4-switch woody, and I might even get a Sears sixer just for the hell of it :)

      he easily could've made a thousand bucks out of the deal. thats how many disks there were.

      Am I doing the math correctly....if I say he was going to average 12.5 cents a disk, for $1K you would have had to have 8,000 disks???

      something like that, yes. mostly purchased from various SIGs that were closing up shop around the country back in the mid to late 90's - most were rare gems: bbs dumps, newsletters, collections, etc.

       

      probably had about 300 disks of printshop icons alone. another 100-150 disks of midi trackers (which if I ever get back I need to pass onto Bill Kendrick)
