Linux is the key....once you get Linux to run, the world opens up. Being able to do it without a mod chip means MS is officially "screwed" now on the fight against mod chips in the long run...someone will figure out how to do what the mod chip does in Linux and so on and etc etc etc...6 months you'll see the effects of this I'm sure. I personally think this is a good thing for the Xbox, but MS has a much different opinion...lol. Playing Combat and Space Invaders on your un-moded Xbox might not be so far away... Mock

ok...I'm a sucker for this stuff...lol...I just ordered HH3D and Koffi...so..I think that does me on the homebrews and now I need to just order the repro's...or did I miss something? lol Any other Homebrews that are about to come out? What are you guys working on now? i hope 25 is all the Combat 2's that are made...lol...would be a cool thing for those of us that got it...lol. anyway...I did my part to support the team this month...lol. Well, I'm new to the homebrew stuff, but I think that it's probably got something with the average person not really knowing what the deal is...they see games for the 5200 going for $4 on ebay, so a $25+ game probably gives them some sort of sticker shock...the collectors on the other hand - they would see that price as cheap, but like myself...I kept "meaning to do it" and get the homebrew collection started...this was just a good chance to get rolling on it. I know you don't do the homebrew for the money, but when you put the time into it and then it doesn't sell like you hope it will...has to at least hurt a little on the inside if nothing else...if you abandon it, write it off to the name or whatever...that's fine..but, I hope you'll continue to work on the new stuff. Like I said, I am going to start buying 1 for the 2600 and 1 for the 5200 each month. In the past 2 days I have picked up : Polo, Stunt Cycle, Alligator people, and Combat 2....next month I plan on gettin HH3D and Koffi since I got 3 2600 games this month...lol...gotta even it back out...lol. Might even go to 2 or 3 per month of each depending on how much I get into it. Hope more people will do the same...but, stick with it man! Mock

I just picked up 70 carts - a 2600 and a 7800 system from a guy that said he found them in the trash...lmao...can't wait to see what is included...Crazy Climber? Quadrun? Waterworld? Rubik's Cube? Joke or not, I just snagged one...I think I'm going to order 1 homebrew a month from here on out from the store...1 each for the 2600 & 5200. Wanted to order a few of the box bags and manual sleeves anyway, but could not decide which hombrew I wanted...so...figured this was as good a place as any to start! Very cool you of all you homers to put them out in cart form...for me playing the emus on the computer is just not the same as playing them on the old systems...the kid gets a kick out of the old games also...can't put a price on quality time with the kid.
