A tale of two 5200's... I purchased 2 of them from ebay recently (few months ago) and one came perfect in it's original box...looked like it just came off the shelf...boxed inside of another box and lots of packing material. The other...the system was perfect, and it came in it's original box...and I mean it came in it's original box..taped shut with postage right over the original price sticker...damn shame because it looks complete with foam and the box does not look like it was in that bad of shape before it was shipped like this... I just had to deal with the same kinda thing a couple of weeks ago...if you keep emailing ebay they will "finally" put a real person in touch with you...I can give you the guy I'm dealing with from their investigative department's email if you want...the guy I had problems with was from AOL also..

The DMCA changed everything...basically EVERYTHING is now illegal...lol. From a technical standpoint anyway...from a reality standpoint...only the companies who are using the games currently to push some new retro-based hardware or software would challenge the use of ROMS... I think the old games should be shared and saved for future generations to enjoy and for people to see as a history within itself...and if you own an original cart or disc or whatever with the game rom, then you should be able to do whatever you want with it for personal use. The DMCA sucks though and esp with newer games, if you emulate or de-encrypt the ROMs in any way you are in strict violation even if you OWN THE GAME>...does not sound cool does it>? Mock

Brian R. I had no trouble getting mine online...and I have no keyboard...it's pretty self explanitory once you get going...I just put my user name and password in and the dial up number...called and it was online forst shot. The only PITA is putting in your email info...it makes you do this and I didn't want to check my email on it anyway...still had to put my info in. Also...it was cool to pull up CNN.com and foxnews.com and stuff like that...could not resist coming here to make a post...I got a real kick out of goofing around with it...if you have dial up internet, and own a DC, you should try it once just for the heck of it. I enjoyed it, but probably will not do it again or at least very often...it was fun though. Mock

Just an FYI - I shipped a 55 pound Guitar AMP from VA to CA (cross country) in 3 days in a HUGE box WITH insurance for $17...so...you might want to check UPS prices...I think the USPS is starting to bend people over on anything over 10 pounds... $50 - $60 seems to be the ebay price over the past month...so you'd save shipping...sounds fair to me if it's a 4 port and in good shape...make sure the controllers actually work and tell the guy you are bringing it back if they dont...if he'll hook it up and show you the fire buttons work on them...it's probably a good buy. my opinion... why do they put stickers on cd's? that drives me insane! I just got my order in from EBgames and 2 had stickers on them...both price tags...and after carefull removal I know why they put it on one...peeled it back and was surprised to see "Promotional copy - Not For Sale" on one of the discs. Was worth the sticker removal time...lol Mock
