http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3014675926 Check out the bottom where it says : and he had it listed here before for a BIN of $80...lmao...I guess he looked around and thought he listed to low and closed it and relisted for $120 BIN....lmao. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1&category=3537 What are the Ebay rules on putting an "Un-official reserve" as he is calling it on an auction...fee avoidance violation? no offense if it's anyone here....but i think that's being a jackass to try and pull something like this...I think I'll bid the $20 and watch and see if the BIN go away...lmao. (*I just bid and it went away..lol) Mock

Is there a list of avail. Jaguar hacks or mods running somewhere or could we start one here? I looked around and found a couple, but don't see a place that lists them all...just curious...I got my Jag in today and it looks sweet! I think I'm going to enjoy it! Thanks. Mock

yep I have both joysticks with it, but strangeenough on that one of them says "Gemini Video Game system" on the tag between the "Joystick" and the "Paddle" sections....the other one is exactly the same but the tag says "Dual Command" on that tag. The adapter does say Coleco on it. Mock

I've been looking for a good priced trackball for a month now...no luck...congrats on finding yours! Mock

The Swordquest series...and they sucked. I wish I had Waterworld though...lol. Mock

I think you are doing great! I started my 5200 run about a month ago and got lucky and hit a BIN with about 30 games and got some of the harder to find games (Miner-Zaxxon-Gyruss) in one shot for $40...I picked up BBSB on a fluke a couple of years ago...with the exception of BBSB, I'm still not as far along as you are! I'm so pressed for time right now I have not been able to even update my lists....I think I'm going to just make a section on my website for all the classic video game stuff. Mock

Ok so I finally got a Coleco Gemini...anyone know what the adapter is supposed to look like? The one I got with the system says Coleco on it, but the end plug is a multi-plug....has a regular 9V battery type plug on it and 3 or 4 different connections...anyone know what the original plug looks like or is this the correct adapter? Everything but the kitchen sink...unless I overlooked that!

Well...the plastic Koo Koo Clock was very tempting, but I'm going to resist. Mock -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=26425 Never know what you will find on Ebay when you do a search for "atari" do ya? Mock

Mock replied to midwest_cdn's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
what do you want for the whole package? -
ah---one of those "get them in the box and out the door with whatever you can make one with" kinda things...lol. Cool to know there are others like this, kinda strange variations though. Interesting. Mock

Should have just been called "Bonk!"

Thanks for the info! Wonder how many of these were made? Had to be rare if they were just using up leftover parts....and of all the Atari's I've seen, this is the first one like this... Also curious as to how many came with the red service sticker on them? That pretty common of just the CA built units have them or what???? Mock

The box has the original price tag on it, says it's from "Best Products Inc." and he sent me serveral boxed games purchased new from that same store...guy says thats the way it was when he bought it and that it was never sent back in for repair? Think maybe they re-packaged re-furbs and sent them out new in the box again back then? I know companies are not supposed to do that now...just curious? Mock

I got home tonight and decided to tinker around with my 2600's for a while..clean them up a little and what have you...anyway...I noticed I have 2 different 4 switch models...the first is my original 2600 wich I purchased myself back in the day...it's got a green paper type sticker on the botom and says made in Taiwan - the back of the thing is smooth and one piece molded plastic...it has the dif. and chan. switches on the top on the back in the normal place for 4 switches near the joystick plugs. The other system I have is in it's original box, it came from a guy I know in CA. The box has a silver sticker on it that says SN: 836495 which matches the silver sticker on the bottom of my 2600. The Box says CX2600A on it. The unit itself is kinda strange from other 2600's I've seen. It has this orange sticker on it: Here is another pic that shows the service sticker in relation to the serial number sticker...which is peeling, but is the original sticker. It says made in Sunnyvale, CA also... It has a cover on the bottom half of the rear housing that is a black sticker over some pre-cut holes. See Pic: And there is a channel select switch opening on the bottom right hand side of the unit that says "Channel Select A-B" molded in the plastic...however the actual switch is on the top back near the joystick plugs and it says "Channel 2-3" on it? Anyone else have frankenstein systems like this or is this common or what? I've never seen another one like it? And it doesn't seem to match up with the FAQ CX2600A description...? Mock

Yeah...total was less than $33 for all...$11 each including shipping for new games is not bad at all....or at least I don't think so. Mock

Kaboom! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3013559618 Megamania http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3013559611 Pitfall! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3013559610 I don't know if this is one of you guys or not, looks like he found a case of each...has 11 of each left and they are new in the box sealed and shipping is not bad...I bought all 3 myself, thought you guys might like to get in on the action. Figured i would ask and see if any of you could use any pro video stuff? I have a friend I do web work with who had some pro video stuff from a TV station...he said it was like $4500 new but they go for cheap now on ebay...he's in the San Fran Bay area and I know a lot of you guys are in that neck of the woods. Anyway, I'm not making anything off this or anything, just thought someone might be able to use some of it...I can probably get him to hook you up cheap if not free...you'd have to go pick it up though cause the stuff is heavy. Here is an example...they have about 20 - 30 different kinds of these things...different models...I can get a list if anyone wants specifics. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=21168 You can PM me or email me... Mock

Can you tell if it is really powering up or not? Do you get any audio at all (even static or a 'pop') when you turn it on? Did you try another power supply yet? Just curious...ya never know unless you ask. Mock

I just picked up a Jag new in the box (sealed) with a game (lame game from what I hear..lol) for $56. I'll probably pick up a Lynx at some point...if I have spare stuff, I don't mind trading with people here - not all trades have to be dollar for dollar value offsets...I just enjoy the games and I might trade or pay a little more to get something I really want...I guess everyone has done that at some point. Speaking of trades... I have been trying to get CPUWIZ to sell me some gatefold games, but I think he's been pissed off at me since the Xbox Mod Chip discussion ...lol. Then he blacklisted me for telling the proto guy to not end the auction at 8pm ...lmao. Unforgiven.... Mock

I have purchased a couple of things and even traded once with Kyle...he never charged me excessive shipping. I was happy with all the stuff I got and he seems like a really nice guy. That being said, I always look over the shipping on ebay...and I hate getting overcharged, even if only by a couple of bucks. Nothing burns my ass more than to pay $8 for shipping and to get a $2 envelope. I just sold a guitar amp that weighs 55 lbs to a guy in CA (I live in VA) and it was $18 to ship it UPS ground...I won an ebay auction for a Genesis system with 5 games for $20 or so and there was no mention of shipping charges in the auction...when I got the email from the guy, he wanted $20 to ship it...I sent him one back and asked why so high on the shipping since he was in CA and I was in VA and I had just sent the amp with $600 insurance for less than $20? (busted!) The guy ended up charging me $9 which was still to high but I figured screw it... Anyway...long story short...don't make your money on the shipping. Mock
